Hey Jill so excited for this new season! I have started my cut flower garden seeds as well as some peppers and peas! So happy to see some little sprouts poking through the soil! I am zone 6a with 4 inches of snow on the ground and temps in the low 20’s, so my dining room is my seed starting room every year! As temps start staying above freezing at night I will be moving things to my sun porch! We do what we need to to ensure the flowers and food for the season! Looking forward to seeing all the beautiful things you will be growing and watching your beautiful garden come to life before mine does! Blessings on you and your family and your garden! 💖🌸💚🌸💜🌸💙🌸💖

I was hoping to get into selling plant starts this year, I'm also in the state of Arkansas, I was starting from seed and wondering if I need any kindof nursery license to do so or if I can just start planting and selling to friends family and coworkers. Depends on what you mean by "heat." Arkansas heat? Yes. Texas heat? No. We actually have two "growing seasons" for things like green beans, tomatoes, and nasturtium, bookending the blistering dearth of summer when it's too hot for most veggies and flowers. Even Zinnias and peppers struggle to make it through.
