Can't believe Sara has an exposed hand during all this great work. I needed hot tea just to watch her! Props! ☺️🙌💫✨
Awesome video, but don’t forget they’re fishing in a territory where the fish see no pressure, there is so many of them that they bite on anything that looks like bait, what works out there may not work in a dense populated area ( to an extent), also by around March we have sometimes up to 6 feet of ice, good luck with a chipper lol

Зачем они все смотрят в прорубь? Достаточно делать ритмичные подергивания блесны.Голец сам засекается на тройнике,привлекаемый блеском блесны.

This was a real treat to see a modern Inuit using traditional method of fishing. Ive scoured the internet to find modern Inuits doing traditional things and almost all I have found were White ppl copying them trying to become “bushmasters.” That’s great and all but Ive been so disappointed that I cannot the real deal mostly everywhere I look. I even saw an English man make a 8”-10” arrowhead knife from start to finish using an antler hammer, a rock, and some other primitive nipper. Again, it’s almost never our native North Americans. Have they given up their traditional knowledge altogether? 😞.

So why post this info here? First of all the video is about Canadian Inuit people not eskimosI I think your comment would be better directed to Alaska and USA - as the story you refer to is an Alaskan/USA problem not a Canadian one. I have travelled with Inuit extensively across the arctic and have never seen anything like that described in your comment. While many people do use the term 'eskimo' it is disrespectful to them - they are and prefer to be known as Inuit.

Steve MacInnis And I agree very much so indeed on all accounts. It is with absolute ignorance of which any may post a comment and have no idea of which they say. The Inuit are, have always been and will continue to be the greatest of Northern Peoples. Ask a question, if worthy of the negative response I read of some ignoramus of which he has knowledge of the Thule ? Best regards, my friend.. and thanks for sharing the video.

Actually Point hope has Tikigagmuit not Inuit. There are many different tribes in Alaska and Canada. They are not all the same. They are all native american but they can be very different from each other. At they end of the day we are all just people, and no matter what your blood line is we are capable of good or evil actions. Each person has to make their own choices.
