Ice Fishing Connecticut! New England First Ice SLAYFEST (2024)

First ice Connecticut! Finally got to do some southern New England ice fishing after a long wait for cold temperatures. Decided to hit one of my favorite small lakes and was rewarded with a hot bite consisting of crappie, perch, bass, sunfish, and more! Can't wait to hit some more ice this season!

I would treat ice fishing just like carp fishing. If you pull its head out of the water and see the whole fish , it counts as a catch. 😂
