Ice Fishing Stocked Trout 2024

Ice fishing for stocked trout and bass is something I've been excited about since we stocked the pond this past summer. That's cool that you've got your own pond to fish! I like to test all of my gear out on stocked trout first-ice as well. I typically move on to bigger water from there. Glad your able to get out onto the ice this year! Made it out a few times but the ice season was short lived on my side of the pond, we only had about a week of safe ice on this side of Lake Erie.

Our ice season has been short lived too... we only really got about 5 days of safe ice here in southern Ontario.

We aren't very far from Niagara... this was only filmed a few days ago and now there's no safe ice anymore.
