Nice bows then off to the next lake. That was cool when you did the description and Kokanee hit. Then off for some quick brookies! Awesome video 🤙😎

Yes, you can get a lot of information from a flasher sonar. I like it better than the standard read out from right to left. The New Panoptix of Live Scope is a step above. So pick whichever you like they are both effective and help you catch more fish.

I was there that day, and I kind of thought it was you. Nice fish man, I didn't do as well that day, but went back a few days later and limited out by 930 and all the fish were at 4-10' under the ice.(@stump) Awesome video!
@TheFishingDoctorsAdventures9 ай бұрын
Yeah when the fish are right under the ice they're the most active and easiest to catch. The key is catching them any day... and this is how you do it. So Thursday February 22nd you were there?
@fishwhistle96669 ай бұрын
Yeah I was only able to get 2 to bite, both at 55 feet. One took a similar setup to which you were using and I got another one on a Swedish pimple that day. Using mealworms. And yes I was there the Thursday in a tent just in towards shore from where you were fishing. I noticed the tripod near you and figured it was likely you. Glad you were able to slay em

@@fishwhistle9666 Yeah it was pretty good action from 1130am to about 130 pm when I was catching the fish. It's always interesting fishing that lake how it can change from one day to another.

Kokanee fishing is so fun and addictive. Always cool learn what works well for others. Thanks for the tips and keep the videos coming. Have been a sub for a few yrs now.

@fishwhistle9666 yeah some people love to comment that it's their least favorite fish. I enjoy every fish and the different techniques to catch them all. I also love the use of sonar and it is really integral part of Kokanee success.

Looks like great fun. What is the cost for non resident canadian fishing license for BC
@TheFishingDoctorsAdventures9 ай бұрын
I'm not sure. I'm a resident of BC. My license is around 35 bucks, plus Salmon and Steelhead stamp. You can probably find that information online since you can purchase licenses online.
