Even in the irrigation canals, they finally drained the canals before winter so that it would not take out bridges! That was in the 70’s

Ice jams are very common up North in the early spring. Sometimes they can cause severe flooding. One year around 30 years ago, they got a bad one in Montpelier, Vermont. I wasn’t there when it happened but I heard about it in the news.

As soon as the ice start moving, you guys filming it should stand still, and not also start moving or walking. If you stand still we the viewers will be able to see much better.
