While the whole album is great, this is easily my favorite track off Horrorwood. And Dan is a ridiculously underrated guitarist. There just isn't anything close to the technicality of Assault & Batteries in MAINSTREAM metal right now.

Funny thing, when you listen to the song it doesn’t sound that difficult but once you see the guitar playthrough, you know that it’s some advanced stuff. I love how the song has enough space for those runs and it still sounds busy. Definitely impressive _\m/

God I’m so happy this is the song you chose because it’s very easily my favorite of the album. I’m a sucker for big biddly boodly chromatic carnival bullshit in music because really NOBODY does it outside of theater or in more traditional music (Greek Bouzouki music is filthy with chromatic runs.)
