Obviously, they managed to work in a saw pun, but it also expresses Jigsaw's beliefs: That the people he punishes are selfish and soulless, and that he believes he's never actually killed anyone directly. This band is next level.

Also, indirect murder is still murder, but even if it wasn’t considered murder, Jigsaw would still be convicted of drugging, kidnapping, and many other crimes.

I love the series. they are relatively cheap to make. always have great "traps". love the twist endings to nearly every movie. first is an absolute classic though. the others, just good gory fun. the motive never changes for jigsaw. he is dead in most of them. the other 'jigsaws" are the ones who make it impossible for people to make it out alive. anyway. leigh whannell is amazing. i'll watch anything he does.
