2nd law of thermodynamics says you can't generate any amount of ice without expending even more heat than that ice lost. That's because you have to add heat to any system to reverse the flow of entropy. IOW, no engine is 100% efficient moving energy from one place to another.

Whats about getting Ice from Space to Earth? In Space you won't need that much Power to move Objects either. And i dont think it would be that hard to create Ice in Space. And then let it Fall into an ocean, which is prepared to handle the Impact. I aint no scientist. And i know that would take a Lot of Time and Money. And wouldnt help at all. But Space should have a Solution for that Problem. In one Way or anotherat least.

There are many stories about it, but the most likely one is simply that Iceland was found in the dead of winter, when it was all snowy and frozen, while Greenland was found in the summer.
