The videos are always worth the wait (which is usually shorter than I expect)! I listen to them daily when working or doing chores or in bed. You’ve made hundreds so I’d say your pace is just fine :) My only preference would be more “tranquil” and “rainy” videos. A tranquil WoD Nagrand or a rainy Cata Feralas would be amazing IMO

This raid evokes a multitude of emotions; the culmination of Arthas' story from the moment he assumed the Lich King's throne to the moment we defeated him is a timeless tale. The music doesn't need to be epic crescendos or overt fanfare; the cold, creeping, sorrowful melodies and muted tones set the perfect atmosphere. It's almost a feeling of mourning, you know? Even the version of Lament of the Highborne that plays here is more sombre and sorrowful. Truly a magnificent piece, I've always loved the way you tell a story with your arrangements; The moment you hear "An Karanir Thanagor" it's over, tears well up and it never fails to chill one's soul. Absolutely beautiful, thank you so much 😌

Listening to the last song always gets me, it reminds me of my old fanfiction. I always felt on my warrior that after defeating the lich king with Shadowmourne, it tore a piece of his soul and my warrior became the jailor of the damned just as much as Bolvar did. He kept the legions in check and I kept Ner'zhul/Arthas in check. Man I miss being a teenager hahaha

You did a stunning job on this man :) you captured so many nostalgic moments that other versions of this area just failed to capture, fleeing the lich King in the dungeon, the halls of the various trash mobs, the professor! GOOD NEWS EVERYONE! That, and you blended it all together beautifully. Nothing was jarring, nothing felt out of place, it all flowed together and kept the mood consistent throughout. One of your best pieces yet. I really hope you'll go back to some of your older videos and revisit them in your more recent artistic style. They definitely deserve this kind of attention! 😁

Best DLC ever.. Just when you thought they couldn't outdone themselves with The Burning Crusade, they came with Wrath of the Lich King... by far the best DLC of all games ever. Great ambience. Thanks.

Good news everyone!! Meiso has published yet another amazing music and ambience video! EDIT1: 38:54 is probably my favorite bit; definitely the music, but also entering the Upper Spire and seeing who’ll make it past the “frost jet” timing puzzle trap thing this time, plus the epic visuals of the Frozen Throne’s spire in the center. EDIT2: I noticed you left out some particular tracks from the raid, notably the gunship and Sindragosa battle music. Maybe some others too since it’s been a while since I’ve been in the raid! It’s not a bad thing IMO - the battle music is excellent but also is very different from the rest of ICC’s eerie ambience. Is that why you left it out?

Exactly what you are saying. Sindragosa and Gunship tracks are very different and I did not include them so I can create a continuous mix.

@@Meisio I always appreciate the extra blended tracks; if I ever manage (before the imminent hypergargantuanhellfires consume us, as the transition away from the more greedy and selfish lifestyle and system will never happen, I guess, and if it does it'll be the wrong ways again, plus too late) to make a finished playlist with my favorite segments of each region/zone that can be blended together, you'll be the first or second to know, I haven't forgotten. Hopefully my sis who is familiar with certain editing programs, will help me (hence she'll probably be the first), soon TM - she's always busy working etc or going to one of the few foresty places/towns around here that hasn't been burnt down yet, most weekends. So I'm left with an additional reason to restart rambling on online instead, or listen to non WoW music while cursing at my pokemon games for more hours, for their pokehax in battles (same story with most of my periods of pet battling in WoW ofc, because, why should I get a break from being hard countered or/and critted etc for multiple consecutive turns? well, that's part of why I take literal breaks at all tho, I can't, I can't, I can't stand losing in lame ways, and I generally prefer chatting and focusing on the music and atmosphere, as I've mentioned b4). Oh, right, believe it or not I haven't really been online all these months except for some quick searches and a couple of Livestream visits without being logged in... these after playing "almost" 24/7 during December+January. Spent enough time writing my walls of texts only on paper, as if anyone will ever read any of these, offline or online, and... listening to the radio (well, the station I listen to had some parts and equipment of it half burnt recently, and I swear the fires won't stop, all kinds... planes with military equipment from Ukraine (or the US or whatever) falling, ppl here n there burning garbage bins or tires to protest(?!) -while protests about the environment and injustices are not really allowed and get attacked by cops to be quickly dispersed-, recycling factories burn their material instead of recycling it, forests and islands and stores are aflame, etc. I'll be saying "I told ya" to everyone who is ignoring me and all these plus the dangers of all the power mongering sides that are at play lately... I hope someone can feel soaked in relaxation while reading this, but I do think we need to be talking about these in order to move on to acting more seriously next, and ofc, sorry if I ruined the mood of the fav area of our good boy Arthas, come to think of it maybe it fits a bit tho, lol).

Somehow I missed this when it first came out but WOW! Another excellent composition, sir! Also, I LOVE how the Halls of Reflection throne room floor decoration is a twisted version of the Lordaeron crest you can see in the capitol ruins!! Neat detail I just noticed :)

This is basically the future of the Livestream (Did you check that one too?) It doesn't have these features yet, but at some point, you will be able to request a map and see where you are.

I want to see more videos like this. It seems you can take the camera and perspective to give us new perspectives and views of these areas along with the music. I love that as it makes it fun to both watch and listen. I hope you keep doing this and give us more raids. I'd love to see the deathwing raid and the dungeons like end time featured along with their music.

Replayed the zone last week for loremaster and dam it took me 15 levels and several 5man quest. Not as bad as shadowmoon valley though.

Hey Meisio, I've been grinding Argent Crusade rep recently to finish that up and get the meta Argent achievement and title. I have the tabard on and I've been running Forge of Souls over and over again on Heroic without killing the bosses so I can reset it as much as I want. I gotta say I really love the intro song in FoS, after the dragon kills the army and Sylvanas says you have to press on alone. The song is a very relaxing piano piece that only plays on the entry plateau, and it sounds like a very old piano that needs tuning. Would you have recorded that song and included it in any of your videos?
