That guitar playing is as good if not better than any other that has played this magnificent song. As for the vocals , nothing can match the version from 'Alive in Athens' In fact not even the version from 'Festivals of the wicked'. So Stu has done an exceptionally good version of this song and again as proved to be up to the job of being Iced Earths vocalist. The great Jon Schaffer has picked the right man.

Απίστευτη συναυλία, η φωνή έχει κλείσει, βγάλαμε όλοι την ψυχή μας για πάρτη τους...Stu κορυφή, Schaffer απλά ηγετική μορφή. Κοινώς απλά αγαπάμε Earth λέμεεεεε! Το μόνο κακό είναι ότι έπαιξαν μόνο 1 και 40 λεπτά, ακριβώς όσο έλεγε το πρόγραμμα...Μιση ωρίτσα ακόμα ζητούσαμε έστωωωωωω, αν και 5 ωρες να έπαιζαν ακόμα εκεί θα ήμασταν καθηλωμένοι!Οπως και να έχει... Επίσης πολύ μέτριο Setlist αν εξαιρέσεις το A Question Of Heaven, χωρίς Anthem,Dracula,Dantes Inferno,Travel in Stygian,Angels Holocaust,Melancholy,Declaration Day,I Died For You,Stormrider,Damien,Wolf! Περίσσευαν πολλά κομμάτια που στην θέση τους θα μπορούσαν να μπούνε κάποια από αυτά που ανέφερα! Ελπίζω την επόμενη φορά που θα μας τιμήσουν και θα τους τιμήσουμε με την παρουσία μας να ακούσουμε κάτι καλύτερο!

You may learn to tolerate it in pieces like Wolf and Dracula, but it absolutely ruins songs like I Died For You and Watching Over Me.

Writing and performing something doesn't mean you can hit the notes, which is evident when you listen to pretty much all live recordings of this song with Barlow, where he struggles immensely and hits 1 really high note out of 10 at best. Stu has much more control over his voice and is much more consistent, which anyone with some knowledge about singing will tell you. End of story.

Barlow rarely ever nailed the ending live, let alone even attempt the highest part. The only time I ever heard him attempt the high note since the mid 90's was in '08, and he botched.
