As a fan of the band since the 90's I'm happy to see many more people finally getting exposed to Iced Earth even if under unfortunate circumstances. If anyone from Century Media reads this please do the right thing and keep this channel up and continue supporting the band rather than bow down to media pressure and try to purge the band from existence. Censorship is never the answer and this current push to ban and remove individuals and content from the internet for their political views will unfortunately do nothing more than further escalate tensions in a society that is already falling apart.

KK Downing had actually only been playing guitar for about a week, just a week, when he first auditioned for Judas Priest in 70/71 but they hired him because of his work ethic, attitude, and persona, and he always says that joining a band so early on is what helped him improve fast. This is a message of peace and sanity. Please stop reading if you just want hate. I see all those people spreading hatred on the band and over-analysing things almost saying that if Jon had not stormed the capitol there wouldn't be dead people etc. Guys, first of all what Jon and every "Jon" who was there that day did was illegal and yes, they should be brought to justice for their actions because they breached the law. As simple as that. To those of you Iced Earth ex-hard-core fans who mix music and politics, if you actually have been "listening" to 'em lyrics, you should have seen that coming. Don't really see why people are so impressed. And to those of you who play the "good democratic samaritan", none of us really knows Jon more than between a meet-and-greet and listening to IE in spotify so do not assume you know his beliefs and jump to conclusions.
