17:06 "Bræðraborgarstígur " in english means Brothers City Path From Wikipedia Bræðraborgarstígur is a street in the western part of Reykjavík . It lies between Hringbraut in the south and Vesturgatu in the north. It is mainly residential, some of the buildings are among the oldest in the city. The street takes its name from the house Bræðraborg (now Bræðraborgarstígur 14), which was built by the brothers Bjarna and Sigurður Sigurðsson from Hæðarenda in Grímsnes around 1880. [1] The street name first appears in sources in 1885. In recent years, various book publishing houses have chosen to be located on Bræðraborgarstíg. The book publishing house Iðunn was at Bræðraborgarstíg 16 from around 1975-2000, Bjartur-Veröld is now at Bræðraborgarstíg 9 and Forlagð ( JPV edition, Mál og menning , Vaka-Helgafell and Iðunn) at Bræðraborgarstíg 7.

Iceland national Hermitage law does not prohibit the use of Metal detectors. It prohibits what you can find and regulates what you get for it. You can even bring your detectors to iceland. I have done it.

Metal detecting is heavily restricted in Iceland primarily to preserve its archaeological sites and cultural heritage. The country has strict laws to protect its historical artifacts and landscapes from being disturbed or damaged. I can understand why, the whole place is a treasure
