Instead of setting the crosshairs to static, you can remove the wobble ENTIRELY by hitting the dropdown, turning on crosshair dot and center dot, then turning OFF the crosshairs back above. Leaves you with ONLY the center dot and nothing else to ruin your aim

Also a great thing to mention cause i have had it actually tank my performance is Discord Hardware acceleration, It is in the Settings menu scroll down to advanced and then it will be the second or third option down from the top then turn it off. I know that this only pertains to people who use discord but i know most PC users do.

For auto mantling, if you want to use it but also reduce accidental uses I recommend "Grounded Mantle" OFF and then set "Automatic Ground Mantle/Hang" Auto Mantle LOW. This will auto mantle only object that are waist height and down such as short ledges and windows.

I used that exact configuration for a while to have some more control and get into windows more easily but then i would constantly jump off rooftops when running up to the ledge to quickly shoot at someone, even when strafing. You always have to slowly walk up to a ledge which kinda sucks. I use a separate key now for mantling and its way better and even quicker.

I would argue that the resizable bar testing seems to be inaccurate. Myself and many of my friends alike all benefited from enabling resizable bar at 1440p. Many of us seen a boost in frames at around 30-50 fps.

Forgot about Manual Fire Behavior, if it's set to HOLD it will affect the way certain weapons fire. The MORS charge barrel it won't allow you to charge the round, the Cor 45 with Conversion kit fires wonky. Just to name a couple, so set to Press is the better option.

I've been having 3 to 5 crashes every time I play and my father sent me this video and followed everything you said and haven't had a single crash and my GTX GeForce 1660 Super is maxed out at 144 FPS and I have been getting at least 160FPS all night. This last driver update messed up my gaming performance and going back to what your set up was a complete 180, So this is a HUGE difference!!! Thank you!!!

Thanks for this video, such a good tutorial. The only thing I think you may have missed is setting up mic for in game chat. This would help so many people that don't know how to use the different volume sliders to adjust mic settings.

@@IceManIsaac for open mic sensitivity it is better to keep at around 70 so it doesnt pickup any background or unwanted noise except for your comms. the microphone level should be set to 100 so your teamates can hear you loud and clear. there are one or two settings in windows which might help a little bit but I havent seen any significant changes in mic performance after changing them.

My FPS was already best my monitor could support (165) with no lag, vram or latency issues, but this definitely made it play, feel, and look smoother 100%. Even having gone through other peoples settings tutorials. Not sure what was there key settings that made the difference, I just matched and it worked. Thanks for this!

Just signed up for the PC and Audio Bundle so fast. This will help a ton, I try following your settings videos every time, but I still don't have the best FPS. Hopefully it works well with an ASUS Tuf Gaming Laptop. (of course I don't expect the same quality as a full setup rig, but hopefully it can be better than what i get currently :) ) Appointment is tomorrow, can't wait!

Amazing video Issac!! I changed ONE setting in Nvidia Control Panel, and was an instant game changer. Threaded Optimization ON. Now GPU and CPU time is synced up in game, and I’m shocked at how responsive it is. Gameplay feels more fluid, less visual recoil etc. I’ve watched a ton of optimization guides as well as yours in the past and gotten a lot of value out of them. I’ve liked where my gameplay has felt, but that one setting was major. None of the tutorials said to turn this on yet. I have a 3070 TI on a laptop and it still made a huge difference!

I used FPS hub, money well spent. forgot to use icemans code, dont be that guy... ice man not sure if you saw my respose to the hybrid, inadvertent dive issue. I disabled LS through IQ, works well now...drop shot with ease now!

Thank you so much! 4070 Card user here, I’m sure downloading an older driver and setting up the config files helped a ton! I went from 130 -110 to 220 - 180 being the lowest on bigger maps WHILE running at Native resolution with Fidelity CAS on which used to plummet my smooth gameplay. I use a 1440p 240hz monitor. Definitely can attest to the frame gains. I did everything in graphics settings - as well as control panel game files and Windows settings. I'm now getting almost 400 fps in 1440p. I will likely make the change over to 4K later this weekend.
