Sounds like a bad water float or bad water distribution

In the harvest time the water pump should be off?

Water pump will only be on to dump the water from the water trough into the drain because the purge valve will open. We have a harvest assist mechanism on this unit so water does not need to run down the coil during harvest.

What could it be if I have red solid on power and v blinking dual clean and water is pumping fine but a quick press if power does not turn me blue to go in to freeze cycle and r1 n r2 not lit?

I got it. One of the tray floats was stuck I guess. I took it out, moved the floats andPut it back together and I hit power and got blue and it went into freeze cycle and harvest multiple times. No call back so I guess that was it

What I'm finding is that the pump needs to be ordered and delivered to my part of the country, so if you can just go pick one up, grab one for me. Unfortunately, we only have one ice machine too so we're SOL til we can get one delivered. There's no temp fix or tricks of the trade to share? And someone with the time should do a complete video in the light trouble code/ reset procedures and explain what's required.

The water pump most likely seized up because of a small plastic piece broke off the very bottom left or right side of the evaporator and became lodged into the impeller. This is extremely common with these new CIM models effecting every single new machine up until about 8 months ago. The fix is to turn the water pump upside down, knock off the very bottom plate of the water pump, get the small white plastic piece out, knock the bottom back onto the water pump. Trim and cut off the other side plastic that hasn't fell off yet (if its still there) then replace the lower water curtain as there's a redesign so that your machine can run properly with those side plastic pieces missing.

Hi! This tip helped a lot! Definitely saw the area where the plastic piece was/is. It’s also about to break from the other side too. Do you know how you fixed it though or did you have any solutions to block that area? It looks like when the piece is missing, the water going from the evaporator when the machine is running constantly drips down into the ice bin partially melting the ice in there. Otherwise, do you have any tips on where I could order the new design water curtain (or maybe part name/number)? Thank you!

As one professional to another, that's not great advice to tell people to purposely remove those tabs on a several thousand dollar evaporator over trying to save a much cheaper water pump. Those newly designed lower curtains only work sometimes to catch some of the water depending how much damage is done. You still leak some because they open/close into different positions throughout the day. If the tabs break clean off, or you cut/trim them flush yourself, you just shortened the life of the evaporator and in comes drips into bin, plus thin/hollow ice and quick freeze cycles. The next step is to replace the evaporator with a newly designed one. I've replaced about 8 evaporators so far, and it fully fixed the issue with no drips.

@@bryannguyen9060 yes. You need to replace the "lower water curtain" otherwise you have constant dripping from the left or right side into the bin. I dont have the part # handy, but calling any ice o matic distributor you can order one, they are pretty cheap.

@@MystifierMan i agree with you. This is per factory to trim the corner, and replace the lower water curtain. Factory recommended as they sell a "Revised" lower water curtain.
