During it's prime days,this anime deserve more love than current generations....I meant Bleach totally one of anime that pretty hype way back...Too bad generations these days show disrespect to it lately...not all but some of them

It's not disrespected lately, in fact the respect for it skyrocketed around a month before TYBW first court first episode released. For years after the manga ended, nobody cared about Bleach. Whenever it came up in an anime/manga discution most people were like "Gotta admit, in hisight it was never really good", "Let's be honnest, it's kinda the fraud of the big 3" etc. I remeber in 2020 when the TYBW anime adaptation was anounced, barely anyone cared. Then, as I said, around a month before first court started, for seemingly no reason, suddenly everyone somehow was and had always been Bleach fans.

Ah, the incredibly wholesome Bleach, where the soundtrack and the title cards always go hard. I watched this series in the EN dub myself (Johnny Yong Bosch was an incredibly good Ichigo), so it'll be nice hearing this in the original JP this time.

Johnny Yong Bosch's Ichigo was my fist introduction to him and the series, so for me, Johnny's interpretation will ALWAYS be THE BEST interpretation of Ichigo, period. I love the Japanese VA for Ichigo just fine, but Ichigo's English dubbed VA is just the best, most intense version to me.

Fun fact, due to the time the anime airs it was heavily censored, the ghost girl at the start is suppose to be bloodied and missing part of her head. Sadly this censorship continues till tybw but you can tell when it got a later timeslot cause theyll add in more gore

Ichibei starting Bleach! There are over 370 episodes (less fillers) before meeting yourself in the series, it will be a long journey, but worth of it, enjoy.

Great that you started blaech. In my opinion, all series from the big three deserve to be seen, but I understand why you chose this particular title. As for this series, a word of advice, don't skip Fillers. Bleach is one of those rare cases where fillers add a lot of lore and are closely related to the plot, and if you skip a filler arc you may not know who the characters are or where the main character gained a new power.

They dont gain any powers in fillers in Bleach... only filler characters that show up later are from Bount arc, which itself has realy slooow pacing and it's plot is... to say it lightly: full of holes. But there are sone fun ones: Zanpakuto Alternate Tale aka Zanpakuto Rebellion is probably best one of them. People also like Regai Arc. Bleach fillers have 2 flaws: - either they generaly suck, as Bount Arc does (well, if pacing was twice the speed, it would be kind of okay, at least in term of quality follers usualy tend to have) - they are totally out of place... like a commercial brake in your favorite show, but hey, funny and entertaining commercials exist and I generaly agree they are (mostly) fun to watch...

An important point in case no one else clarifies; when a Soul Reaper kills a hollow, it purifies their corrupted soul and also reincarnates them into Soul Society, same as what happens when the send Wholes over. They have the same job, it's just a matter of which end of their sword they need to use. Looking forward to more reactions!
