Fullbring Arc is actually my second favorite arc because it's classic Bleach going back to its roots with suspense, slice of life and mystery. Tite Kubo had the ambition to try something different compared to other shonen long ongoing series. If you compare this to other animes with a slice of life theme, this story arc is actually pretty good. We see a side of Ichigo we hardly or rarely see. Especially towards the end. It was a rushed arc unfortunately. Just wish we got more on this.

And that's what sucks, at least for me, cuz we waited all this time for a payoff to the Fullbring Arc, but TYBW is only just now being announced, let alone airing. So for the longest Fullbring was the "end" of Bleach (anime-wise), and it was like...wtf. Cuz yeah, technically Fullbring IS slice of life filler for TYBW. It introduces a VERY important character and power/ability, which DOES pay off in TYBW, but we won't see it for AGES. U_U

People only didn't because they thought this anime is all about shinigami, swords and hollows. Those who understood that wasn't the case loved exploring the other aspects of the Bleach world which Kubo conceptualized, and how they were all connected to Ichigo. And I agree this arc was great. But the whole feel to it lost people from the manga and that carried over to the anime. Just going down and back up again from all the action in the last arc, to a more 'philosophical' climb here wasn't what the mainstream wanted. Idk about you, but I followed it as it was ongoing, and believe me you don't want to have any part in the dumb arguments they had over how Bleach evolved.

@@aizensosuke1491 I feel it's a better arc because of that. The HM/Aizen/Faketown arc was way to long, overstayed it's welcome, and honestly a LOT of it was just boring and padded out anime wise. People always remember the big fights (Ichigo vs Grim or Uniqu) or vs Aizen at the end but the build up to those fights and many of smaller fights aren't good at all or are just barely okay. There were to many characters and the writing and storytelling wasn't really able to support that.

Yeah this arc gets hated a lot just because it's different from the other arcs and people don't see the point of this arc(it's supposed to be different). Another thing would be the anime ends after this arc. Back in the day people wanted to wrap this arc earlier and Kubo was forced to do so. But people started realising they were wrong when they gave this a chance through re read and wanted more. That's where the light novels comes in. It gives more context to this arc which the anime/manga doesn't do so. Currently, there's a divide among the fanbase on this arc compared to how it was shat on in the past(which is an improvement I guess).

The people who hated on Fullbring arc are the same people who still complain about Boruto. They live in their own emotions instead of understanding plot. Obviously, no one liked seeing Ichigo be powerless because we watched him get so strong. The same way that most people don't like when Naruto looks weak because we grew up with him. However, people need to understand plot and development. You will enjoy this arc. I'm glad this isn't an arc where the enemy is so stupidly strong that now Aizen looks like a piece of cake. The fullbring arc was *entirely* pointless though. It was absolutely nothing but a mcguffin for him to get his powers back. It was a filler arc without the fun of the good ones like the Muramasa arc, it was more like "Hitsugaya plays soccer with Ichigo's sister!" levels..
