To be fair, Ichigo was on a time limit to get stronger, like Isshin stated most of Ichigo's power progression was mostly through RAW BRUTE FORCING it, he didn't have time to learn new techniques from Zangetsu, didnt help Old Man Zangetsu continously repressed Ichigo's powers and taught him enough to suppress himself and others.

Kubo has stated the TYBW was always intented for Bleach. foreshadowing is kubo bread and butter. To leave just enough of a blank for him to craft the story. We do know soul society was not planned and there so much wasted goodness kubo never used. But with ichigo it was quite in our face.

I mean when you look at Ichigo's bedsheets there appears to be a shape of a cross on em so it might be a coincidence, but I do believe Kubo had the Quincy stuff in his back pockets

Kubo totally planned things out. White is the first to call Ichigo "Partner" while the Old Man always refers to Ichigo by name, in his first appearance in the manga, despite wearing his slasher smile, White's face on the Zangetsu blade was a frown, Juha's name is literally blocked out when he tries to tell Ichigo his name, with the block only being able to fit the Katakana for "Ywach", that Juha's name is always spelled with. After Soul Society, Ichigo sports Quincy sheets in the manga, White straight up admits to being Zangetsu, White was always used to teach Ichigo new techniques and was yhe one eho saved Ichigo from death blows, Quincy Zangetsu literally uses Blut on Ichigo to stop the bleeding of Ichigo's wound in the Kenpachi fight, etc. In Fake Karakura, early scans of when Isshin shuts Aizen up had Aizen say Ichigo is a "Shinigami and" instead of "Human and", as well.

all previous swords that ichigo uses is pseudo ShiKai and bankai only until nimaya forges ichgios swords does it become HIS TRUE SHIKAI AND BANKAI think of all his swords that he used as a sword a black smith would give to a customer when FIXING and blacksmithing that persons original sword so think: sword 1 is original but since black smith is forging it and it ONLY HAPPENED MUCH MUCH MUCH LATTER im talking about after the soul reaper arc im talking about after the hollow arc im talking about the full bring arc im talking about almost until the very end of the 1000 blood war arc even all swords 2-huge katana sword that byakuya broke 3-first ever bankai showcasing during byakuyafight still fragment of his full true bankai 4-full release of his zanpactou (his mugetsu attack sword formwhen 1v1 aizen with hogyoku) still a fragment of his full true bankai 5-full bring cross with his soul reaper badge 6-full bring shihacshou with blade hand in the castle testing with the other full bring trying to grow his powers 7-condensed full bring with his small machete sword that was eventually stolen by ginjo 8-full bring shikai after rukia stabbed ichigo with the soul reaper sword still a fragment of his full true shikai 9-full bring bankai still a fragment of his full true bankai sword numbers 2-9 were all pseudo swords all fragments of his full true form so in essence ichigo was using pseudo swords and then when nimaya finally forged his sword that sword is his full true shikai and bankai that even nimaya forged him self that's true zanpactou that he would acknowledge as one of his creations

im also not saying his pseudo swords weren't real and it wasent from ichigo himself but fragments and peices of his full true shikai and bankai except that he gets to weild a fragment as his pseudo sword during his other arcs and each arc is a fragment of his full until the final forging of his full true shikai and bankai hopfully this makes sense each shikai and bankai or evolution is a fragment a pseudo sword of the full true one thats forged into reality by none other than the sword creator

The powercreep of the MC in this series was just stupid. There were several factions in the Bleach world, Humans, Shinigami, Hollows, Quincy... Ichigo was all of them 😑
