@@Karma-pq9fi ima assume you caught up with TYBW because its obvious that white was never a separate entity. both him and old man 'zangetsu' were always protecting ichigo as Zangetsu. Back in SS arc, how many times did the hollow mask save Ichigo from fatal injuries. Even at the end of Zaraki fight, we saw Ichigo powering up and the energy turned into the face of a hollow mask. Then Byakuya, white had to show himself in order to beat Byakuya, only to be interfered by Ichigo. He was always trying to save Ichigo's life. It was never about dominance. He wanted to push Ichigo further so Ichigo doesnt falter and regret his own powers. Ichigo never accepted his own powers until TYBW because he believed the hollow to be a separate entity trying to take control of him. When in reality, white was Ichigo's powers. He cannot take over no more than a zanpakuto can take over a shinigami. Hes always been part of Ichigo's soul. This full hollow form was him pulling out the full force of Ichigo's hollow powers in order to protect Ichigo and fulfil Ichigo's wish of protecting Orihime.

Not really, the spiritual pressure that made healing difficult was that of the "inner hollow", the same happened the first time Ulquiorra pierced Ichigo's chest.

Paraphrasing from memory but this was all there + more. I personally believe Bleach could've benefited from more very quick flashback moments during these & similarly ambiguous scenes.

One of my favorite signs of foreshadowing from Kubo in the series is when ichigo fights white ichigo and defeats him, and white ichigo gives him the speech to not die or he’ll take control hence this whole transformation. But the best part is that he says he’ll literally stomp on his head, which he actually does to Ulquiorra.

It's because Ulquiorra was slowly developing human-like emotions that he needed to question everything action that Ichigo, Orihime and even Ishida took. None of the other Arrancar ever bother to question the action of others (even more mentally developed ones like Nelliel), because they followed their own instinct. Only Ulquiorra bothered to do so, because he was slowly changing inside, which he even knew himself.

BTW Ulquiorra's lance explosion when compared to the size of Los Noches (the castle thing, estimated to be roughly the size of Texas), the blast size is estimated to have enough power to wipe out the state of California completely and not only did ichigo crushed a literal NUKE with his bare hand, he neutralized it...that some crazy shit!

This battle was supposed to be more even. 2nd Ulq and Hollow Ichigo was supposed to be roughly equal in power, but Kubo's editors made him hurry up and get back to Aizen, which is why Hollow Ighigo stomps. In the beginning of the Hell Verse movie, the scene was redone more in line with what Kubo wanted, with them having a more balanced fight.

I figure Ichigo could observe/hear Orihime ‘cause he hadn’t reached complete, cellular death. Like, it reminded me of the rumor that even after you are beheaded, the electrical signals within your brain will still be firing for a few more moments, meaning you could potentially still see as your head was lifted to the crowd. …Kinda like a chicken “running” with it’s head cut off. With Orihime trying healing him, and his “death” still only moments before, his brain probably had enough neurons scrambling in panic to kinda “out-of-body” observe her, and want to protect her. (Still some heavy plot armor, tho… but I guess hollows get to heal after their Resurrección, so Ichigo had that going for him too…)

The whole not worthy thing has to do with the fact that Ichigo is still technically human. The Espada may have started that way, but they became something else. They're supposed to be better than humanity. Then Ichigo goes full on Vasto Lorde and rocks Ulquiorra's shit. A human transcends anything they thought possible and immediately gives hands.

Ichigo definitely heard Orihime's cries and screams but it wasn't the reason why Ichigo stook back, infact Ichigo doesn't have the power to come back from that, he doesn't have a recolection that he stood and fought. The one who stood and fought was Shirosaki (hollow Ichigo) not to save Orihime or Ishida but to save and protect Ichigo, beause that's his purpose, same goes for Zangetsu... It was clearly showed in the Final getsuga training.

This episode is 🔥, and there are several interpretations with regards to Ichigo's comeback. The prominent one is due to Orihime's Power and/or cries and call for help, though Ichigo heard her, he doesn't power to come back from that injury, and the fact that till this day most people think that the reason for Ichigo's revival is due to Orihime's power and Ichigo's will is preplexing..I refuse to belive that Bleach asspulled a power of friendship this time. The one who stood up and fought was Shirosaki (hollow Ichigo), it is consistent to his character. Whenever Ichigo is in a pinch, Shirosaki swoops in and saves Ichigo's ass. It happened several times throughout the series, i.e. Byakuya and the Spider Doll (Bount arc) It was cleared on his Dangai traing.. Both Zangetsu/Shirosaki's purpose is to protect Ichigo. That's why I do believe that the one saying..'I will...Protect you' is both Zangetsu and Shirosaki.
