I don't think Icicle was a bad guy. He was 17 in the first season, still a minor, I think he did most of what he did because 1) he wanted to impress his dad/his dad gave him no other choice 2) he just wanted to fit in. I mean that's why he let Green Arrow and Speedy catch him because his dad needed him to escape Iron Heights. Cameron said it himself as well. Anyways, I love Icicle Jr, maybe they'll bring him back for season 4.

Icicle jr./ Cameron Mahkent is still my favorite character from Young Justice! I'm hoping him and Artemis get together soon!!! They had a long running relationship in the comics and had a daughter named Isabelle Rose Mahkent. I really liked Icicle/Tigress in the comics and I think they could be an EPIC couple in Young Justice! Cameron's "switching sides for the right girl," comment seems like PERFECT foreshadowing of this to come! In the tie in comic for the show, it was revealed that Cameron and Artemis were best friends as kids. Cameron and Conner are just meant to be best friends. I think Cameron would fit in perfectly in the Outsiders team as Artemis new boyfriend and teammate!

According to the comic books, Dr. Joar Mahkent was a big crime boss and weapons specialist that was into freeze guns but of course all that exposure to those chemicals for years did strange things to his DNA, meant that he passed down the freezing powers to his son Cameron by giving him natural cryokinetic abilities ; so everything that Cameron is because of his father.

This is a deep episode. Course it's a western series, so nothing that happens in the past will have any real effect on character behavior, but it would have been cool if it had changed peoples perspectives. Being being bars has a way of making me a lot less....self-righteously judgmental, I've found.
