Dang that's a high prescription! I like ICL because I think ablating cornea is barbaric. Hope it continues to become more mainstream. It's also nice that there's no need for additional expensive equipment.

How did it go?!

@DoctorKrad Thank you for asking. Life has changed in a positive way for me. This past Friday marked a week that I did it, and I had my post week follow-up. I am now 20/20 on both eyes. I am in love with the amazing halos, especially early mornings, because it gives me like an amazing ring of light around people and nature. Depending on where the light comes from. Also, everything looks more detailed and defined. My night vision gives me like a bionic vision because the halos appear around car headlights and every light. Sometimes, I get a ring of light around each approaching vehicle, and the ring almost feels like a tracker. Seems like the halos are starting to get less visible thou. But when I see it, it just reminds me of this awesome technology that allows me to see, and I feel amazing. I will later try to make a video and explain my experience. I actually have -13.50(R) -13.00(L). I found some Google image links that kinda explains how the halo circle looks for those interested. images.app.goo.gl/Qhy553F2Ay9XwwQAA images.app.goo.gl/XjYK9h4CfE4A4fJ19 images.app.goo.gl/F6AayUB3bjMQcTFY7

How was the experience brother?

@kaifkhan-qj9xo Last week, I had my post-op check-up. I love my new sight. On December 8, 2024, it will be 1 year after getting my surgery. I have been at 20/20, but this last check was 20/25. On low light settings, I do struggle a little bit because of the glares. But overall, I love my vision, I see way better than when I used to wear contacts. My night vision, it is improving little by little. I definitely recommend it. I thought of doing a video about it, but I'm too busy enjoying life in Ultra HD .

@@jvaldez1947 thanks for the reply Thats really great to hear, does it feel pain or any uncomfortable while going surgery, do you feel nervous before surgery?

I’m considering this but at 48 wondering if its worth it. I’m -8.50/-8.25 with +1.50 readers. Is lens replacement a better option?

Does ICL cause glaucoma .. I had done ICL surgery before 1 month and after a month I go for follow up and doctor told me that there is risk of being glaucoma in eye but glaucoma test report is normal and doctor suggest me to check up every 6 month .. at this condition I am so worried about my eye is there any chance of being glaucoma in future or at a month this is normal

I have the glasses power of -8.25 in both eyes. Out of which one eye's power increased from -7.75 to -8.25 in the last one and a half year. Am i applicable for ICL?

If i have glare and starburst will icl make it worse?
@DoctorKrad Жыл бұрын
Depends on what’s causing your glare and starburst now. Often times it’s due to refractive error, which the ICL should decrease. However, it’s important to note that patients with the ICL can have glare at night, but it’s usually mild.

@@DoctorKrad Glasses causes glares as well compared to naked eyes, right? My understand if the ICL causes a little more glares and halos than glasses, right?
