Just got mine, love the feel, size and ease of the manual functions… for the cost wish it had a little more options like it’s lower cost competitors…I’m a Mac guy and the software doesn’t work on my older PC running vista.. so I can’t use it yet… hope icom fix’s that or puts out a Mac version

I'm a BIG Icom fan! Great Radio! Bad Design! That is NOT a bug out radio! That's BS you have to bring your drop in charger with you. You do not have an accessory that will plug into the side of the radio to charge the battery while the battery is attached to the radio.

Icom should have added a USB-C charge port directly on the battery. This would allow charging radio and also charging spares separately.

for many beginner, always have trouble to set the Radio right. I wish they make it simple . All the Steps, Squel, Skip, band , tone and freq is just to confuse to learn it from zero.
