Protection is useless against board wipes unless they inflict damage or have targets. Wedge was the one who was closest to having lethal damage, thanks to Archangel of Thune + Vizkopa Guildmage.

@@C0medySeniorz mill is different from discard, with mill it doesnt matter because they are throwing cards away from their decks, and when you have no cards left and try to draw a card you lose, no matter the life total, you could have 1 million life and I could have one, but if you mill out I win and the life gain is meaningless

In any case whatever strategy wins technically will make the other strategy "irrelevant". it's creature vs mill. Life gain is just the synergy. Mill doesn't make the synergy between the creatures irrelevant. Just like damage to your opponent doesn't stop you from being milled.

Yeah, I play shoddy commanders with quirky playstyles, like Blind Seer (who is my favorite commander). Since the deck has a slow build up, I don't really get paid any attention to until later in the game. It's great.

I think no one has a right to complain about this not being Commander. Jimmy and Josh work thier butts off to get these done and the quality is FAR better than any other gameplay channels. This may have not been what most people were expecting but, it was an amazing game! It was funny, had really great moments, and in the end came right down to the wire. To me it was a perfect episode. Not only that, but the Prof and Wedge will be coming back for a commander episode later? Amazing. Great job guys! Keep up the good work!

Question:Since the professor had the legendary that draws you seven cards each turn shouldnt he play with more than the minimum cards so that he doesnt mill himself?Im not an experienced magic player so im curious.

He could, but with less cards he could make his draws more consistent. It just a balancing game between getting what you need and milling out

From the day I started playing magic until I moved a few months ago, our magic parties consisted of anywhere from 3-16 people (it all depended on how many people showed up) and we’d all be in my best friend’s 60-year old magic-playing father’s cozy basement. We’d have a maximum of two tables and everyone played casual, using any cards or decks they had, and the goal was always to have as much fun as possible. It is still the best way I’ve ever played magic; not to win, but to have crazy fun playing magic. One thing I’ve not found anywhere else: 3-6 person casual (not EDH and not Standard) where you can have fun playing even your stupidest decks

well you can always start writing your own excuses .. I started when I was 13. signing them in my name.. no problemo

well nobody will ask questions unless you have bad grades. so just get your grades up. be motivated at school and then it should not be a problem to take some days off if you feel like it.. should be a win win win - teachers student parents
