This made me think about all the parties my dudes used throw in “the dorm” (475 Washington Ave) during 93-95 when B.I.G. was starting to bubble and the energy of the neighborhood was indescribable how proud we all were that someone from around the way was doing it. I remember our parties (Assorted Flavors, B. Murray and DJ Chase) at Club Downtime on Fridays spun by DJ Red Alert and him playing exclusive joints before they dropped and pandemonium on the dance floor. Watching this made tears of joy come from my eyes because it was time that forever changed us in BK. B.I.G. 🕊️ R.I.P.

What people don't understand BIG was from Brooklyn "Do Or Die" Bed-Stuy. So "Ready To Die" was so befitting. I mean he put his life in it. It was all or nothing. So when he came out with his 2nd album (after having much success from his first) of course what could be more befitting than calling it "Life After Death". He made it... He knew he did it !!! He truly represented where he was from by taking Brooklyn's motto and making it his own. #respect

I'll never forget the day I heard Juicy for the first time. We'd just returned to BK from a summer trip to PR. I was 11 turning 12. I used to listen to the radio obsessively, everywhere I went. So, I'm back from PR after 3 weeks in the campo, listening to HOT, and one of my fav songs at the time, FLOW JOE, cones on. I'm hype bc I've been listening to nothing but Spanish music for the last 3 weeks and s**t. The very next song was JUICY and my jaw dropped to the ground as soon as I heard that sample and Big's voice laid over it. I HAD to know the artist behind this track! I loved BIG ever since, and still visit his stoop annually on his anniversary 3/9. I wore a custom hat with the iconic pic of BIG in front of the WTC towers when I ran the NYC Marathon right through Bed Stuy in 2019. He's provided the soundtrack to some of the best moments of my life, partying and bull s**tting in BROOKLYN. Thank you for sharing these stories with his family of fans, who keep him alive each and every day!!

The song was realised after Pac was shot and not to mention Pac is in hospital shot up 5 times watching Jimmy Henchman having a conversation with Puff on the news what do you expect him to think? We all know now Biggie had absolutely nothing to do with it but all the things that have come out about Jimmy Henchman and Puffy, Pac wasn't that far away from the truth. R.I.P Biggie and Pac two GOATS💯💖🙏🏾💖🙏🏾

It's crazy to see people leaving Biggie off their top 10 list because "he only had two albums." But, they fail to understand how iconic those 2 albums are. How stacked those albums are. There are songs on those albums that can beat current rappers entire albums and/or catalogs.
