I was listening to an interview, I believe it was in 56 and the interviewer was asking him such stupid and hostile questions. The interviewer brought up the name Elvis the pelvis and I heard actual anger in Elvis' voice that you rarely hear. Elvis said that it was the most childish name coming from an adult. He hated that nickname. Also, Elvis has some great blues jams and tracks ( though not nearly enough ) with his band and Elvis and the guys kill them! I wish he had done more and that more people heard them.

I had watched a show about Elvis and it said that Elvis was afraid that his fans would forget him if he couldn't keep performing. I found that so sad. If he had really known how much he was loved by his fans, he wouldn't have had that to worry him. Speaking of velvet Elvis, I had gotten my Mom a velvet Elvis pillowcase years ago. I didn't find it with her belongings up here at Grandma's, but if you would want it, I could ask my brother to keep an eye out for it down at her house. I would gladly give it to you, if we find it. I can't remember if it was white jumpsuit Elvis or black 68 Special Elvis. She had never used it and had it packed away to keep it nice. She had talked about bringing it up here, but I guess she never did. Take care of yourselves.

@@Savage-Reactions Good!!! I'll give my brother a call. I just remembered when I cleaned out her room at Grandma's, she stored items in unused pocketbooks. I could see her doing that with the pillowcase.I have to make sure he knows to look in every pocketbook before he throws it out. I'm going down this summer to help him finish getting rid of her stuff. I really hope he can find it before then. I would love for you to have it. ♥
