Jane Jacobs is very influential and demostrated democracy through activism. Studied her during my time as a human environment speicialist at Concordia University, Montreal.

Jane Jacobs moved to Toronto in the late 60s and chose to live out her life (D 2006) here. She was much beloved and respected here 🙂

Lady Liberty couldn’t be located in a better city. I really hate to sound partisan, but this episode really reinforces for me that you can not let conservative media define places like NYC. With its historical importance and impact, NYC will always be part of “real America” and an inseparable part of the American story.

Could you at least make your conspiracy ramblings understandable by using proper English? You know who where the real heros during Covid? People who who actually in the trenches caring for the sick.. nurses working 12 hours shifts … someone making some documentary on their opinion isn’t a hero..regardless of how serious you think that pandemic was or was it created in a lab…people actually died so to me the people who were actually helping the legit sick people are the heros..not someone who was sitting on the sidelines and not doing anything other than coming up with some theory out of left field

The history of the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire is epic. True microcosm of labor oppression + a story of immigrants, mostly poor women's struggles in the early 20th century. Kinda shocking, but labor history of the era is pretty awful throughout.
