Exactly!! Even if there's an empty stage with only one spotlight shining on her, she'd defenitely be rocking on stage. Just her dancing alone already stunes the crowd. It's the type of performance that relies heavily on the entertainer itself, centered and focused. Therefore no need for fancy background setting to lure the attention away.

Guys, when I started Watching it gave me a feeling of Britney Spears from the 2000s, hahaha. The curly hair, the red leather outfit, the black boots, I thought she looked like a pop diva. When I saw it I almost had a heart attack haha. It starts with the most scenic proposal and then moves on to the energy of the dance. The intensity of the choreography increases as the song ends and there are moments when it catches fire and the flames rise hahaha. Personally, I think there was a mistake on MTV's part where the cameras were often far away and that gave me agony. But the Fancams managed to show us the entire performance in detail. Furthermore, we have to thank all the Fancams who brought us eyes and ears. Lisa is one of the K-pop artists who has the best expressions (generally K-Pop artists can't, they keep the same expression) she manages to convey emotion/expressions from the beginning to the end of the performance. I loved it. Baby, I'm a rock star.

I watched the stages of some artists (of course, on KZbin), you can tell that if you want to WOW the media with your performance, you have to do something they've never seen before, such as crazy things like eating dogs or cats, which are things that the media can turn into viral news without Focusing the content of the artist's songs (especially new artists). Wrong direction? I don't think so. Look around bro, such warm reception by fans, even more than before and not just k-pop fans. All the views and statistics on youtube + other media platforms say otherwise. Yet she keeps breaking record again and again. Not to mention Lisa has graced the cover of high fashion magazines just in the past couple of months alone when no other idols can pull it off like her. All the brand endorsement deals. With the VMAS just wrapped up now and The Global Citizen show to come at the end of this month. More singles and more collaborations on the way. The full album in the end hopefully. Oh.. Also her first debut acting career on the award winning TV show the White Lotus S3 to drop early next year. Oh man... you called this 'wrong direction'??? You'd better get reality check seriously. Lisa is on top of her game. She knows what she's doing.

Where's the quality, the depth? When did we start having shallow lyrics with overproduced beats, just to appease the masses. I'm a hugeeee BP stan and Lisa stan, having bought their albums too. It's for sure different from K-pop because she wants it to be that way. About being meaningful, about the depth or whatever, afterall it's Pop music we're talking about, having catchy hooks and lines that's all there is to compose a good pop tune. Lisa's new music are the products of the top music producers in the western music industry. Like Ryan Tedder, Max Martin , etc. So far, as Lisa's fan, I'm very sastisfied with it. The music is sure different but it's very Lisa. She has full say and expression written all over her works. Well done. Afterall, K-pop songs, aren't that dimensional in term of depth either. Lisa is a good singer but not great vocalist like Adele nor Celine Dion, so dont't expect that same type/style of music and melody. Talking about quality. Based on what that you decided Lisa's music is of low quality? In the end it comes down to a matter of personal preferrences and taste. If you dont like what you hear, then listen to something else. I wouldn't go that far by saying it's overhyped. Such an insult to the artist and her real fans. You dont want people to think that you're jealous of her, do you?

@@vov7965 you would say that because its not written by YG or korean producers lisa has been working a lot more with western producers and songwriters every since she left YG so of course her newer music is going to be a lot more different and fresh than what you normally would listen to in kpop mind you rockstar was written by ryan tedder and lisa helped co write it as she was credited for rockstar, for New Women Max Martin , Tove Lo, and Ilya Salmanzadeh who is known for writing so much songs for ariana grande etc. wrotre and produced New Women. Rockstar and new women are different from each other but we could tell how personal these two songs are to lisa as she also helped write the two songs just compare lisa's speech at the VMA when she won an award to when she won in 2022 lisa was more emotional when she won best kpop for rockstar compared to when she won for lalisa maybe because her newer music with rockstar and new women are alot more personal to her lisa probably wanted to come out with songs that are VERY LISA maybe lisa was not as satisfied when she came out with lalisa and or money for her solo debut in 2021 so she wanted to come out with something more meaningful to her and to share to her fans who love her rockstar and new women are her best songs and people who did not like lalisa or money even came out and said rockstar and new women are even more better lisa's songs than her previous older songs
