In each music video there are different scenes and each of those scenes have meaning behind them. You can look them up to find out what the meaning of them are. Also, Jisoo didn't know english when they first started as a group and she started learning english from the other girls right before they played at coachella. They are the first group outside of the United States to play at coachella so the other girls decided to teach jisoo how to speak english. Her english has gotten much better since. In their most recent music she has been singing in english when she never did. During the pandemic the girls released solo music.

Shut down is like the last one you should watch after watching their MV's coz it's a throwback to their past songs and the journey, basically a big slap to haters too. And you see, in dududududu had the same badasal tank with jennie, which she used back in the shutdown, same with the other girls too For one more example Jisoo fell down in dududududu infront of phones taking pics that was her way of saying if u noticed the same phones they used to praise them with all that photos by paps turn in to guns to get them down. I love your channel and all your Blackpink reactions! So fun to see people discovering them for the first time. They have such a good discography as a group and solo. Looking forward to seeing you learning more about them. Blackpink is my favorite girl group besides (G)I-DLE, which you should definitely check out as well. What makes (G)I-DLE special is that they are a self-proudced girl group. All girl groups from Korea usually have a team with them to write all their music and concepts for them, but (G)I-DLE's main producer is one of the members. She writes, composes and produces most of their songs (three of the other members also produce songs for their albums, but she does all the singles). She's also very involved in the planning of music videos, outfits and everything. This is extremely rare in kpop, because South Korea is still a sexist country. Feminism is also a big theme throughout their music and they are never scared to push outside the box and break stereotypes in kpop. They come from a smaller label, which is kinda shitty and doesn't know what it's doing, so they really had to climb the way up to the top by themselves. And they succeeded! They are now one of the most successful girl groups out there, making even higher numbers than most groups from big labels. Here are some of their most popular recent hits I would recommend for first time listeners: Tomboy, Super Lady, Nxde, Allergy and Queencard (Queencard is their biggest song, but the mv is a continuation of their song Allergy, so I would definitely watch Allergy right before Queencard to understand the story line). They have even more iconic songs, but these are the most popular from the last two years. There is also a song called Revenge from earlier this year, which I love to recommend, but it's not really popular, because you need to be verified 18+ to watch the mv on youtube, but the song and the video are just too good to not mention it

girl happy to see you back and with more BP! dk if u notices but shut down is their latest mv and they incorporated a lot of references from their past mvs so atp you gotta watch them all to catch everything! btw if you liked the choreo you gotta see their dance practices! some of my personal faves are the shut down and how you like that ones if you want something more cinematic or the boombayah, whistle, playing with fire and dont know what to do ones, if you want to see baby blackpink in the practice room doing some of their most difficult choreos (they really debuted with a bang, got them doing all sorts of things first day on the job;)). Live performances are also a must when discovering the girls, they're just great! (coachella '19 and '24, tokyo dome performances for starters, also award shows performances from their rookie days(2016-2017) cause they were already a force to be reckoned with but it's still nice to see how much they grew but would also like to plug lisa's rockstar at the VS fashion show this year cause she slayeddd, you already saw jen doing mantra live and since you like rosie's voice she was on a show a couple years back, called 'sea of hope' were she sang a lot of great covers and duets live, you can find them on yt. as for jisoo she's currently working on a few dramas but she teased a full album on the way this year/early 2025 so hope you can keep an eye out for her too!
