Icy mornings & a decision

Hello!
Shadows from the sun, icy starts to the day, and a little unboxing.
We have finally made a decision on the paint for the hall. Work has already started so stay tuned to see how it progresses.
And of course, there has to be a bit of Henry Cat. So watch till the end and let me know if your cat - if you have one - does the same thing.

Thank you! I’ve never really noticed the shadows as much before, it looks so pretty this year. Have made sure to film action shots of painting, so will show it soon. It’ll take a while before it’s all done, but it’s looking so nice already! ❤

Because of course we wouldn't shoo the cat off the bed in order to make it 🤣...I totally get this!! 😂😂. Lovely sunshine and shadows...the sun shone here this morning for the first time in literal weeks and I felt like I could dance a jig....such a tonic! That's such a fancy paint sample....so beautifully packaged! xo

ha ha, I knew it wasn't just me! Cats! They always come first don't they? I love winter sun too. Summer sun .. .not so much, but the watery sun of January is a gift, it makes everywhere look so pretty. Yes, I agree, the packaging is fantastic for the paint! They include a small paintbrush with every sample pot too, which is pure genius. I'm going to miss not getting more of these little deliveries, but so excited at the hall makeover. xx

My kitties used to do the same thing, now one of the dogs does this lol. Stunning frost patterns you captured! They always fascinate me, never the same pattern twice 🙂 Your new cup and saucer are very lovely. Can’t go wrong with polka dots! lol at Henry Cat.. he definitely was giving you “stink eye” heehee.

We really do put our little friends above anything else don't we?! Cats! Dogs! Rotters the lot of them! I really don't remember ever seeing such vivid ice patterns like that before, it was pretty stunning. You've always appreciated things like that Wynne, I recall that about you. Yes, Henry Cat was not happy with me. But he's forgiven me now. He's been quite poorly this week, hence not getting round to editing the latest vlog, been spending the majority of my days clearing up after him, but he seems so much better today. Visit to the vets tomorrow to get him checked out. Cats! So much worry! x

Prayers and positive thoughts for Henry. Glad he’s doing better. I forgot to mention how fabulous it is that you have so many different species of birds that visit!
