Thank you not all heroes wear capes. I fly out of TOA every once in a while. Any thoughts if the same amount of ice would last longer in the ultimate vs the platinum?

Much better seals in the ultimate when not using the A/C since you have down latches and the pluggable vent. In active use that still has to count for something but not sure it will be measurable. I did a two and a half hour flight in 95 heat using two gallon milk jugs and one two liter of ice with a gallon of water. There was still about 1/3rd ice at the end. Just did a 2 hour flight in similar heat with 30lbs of loose ice and it was completely gone at the end. But either way stayed much cooler than I would have otherwise

It's interesting because I work in Product Management and the Ultimate to me should've really been the first iteration if their design folks had really thought this through... why wouldn't the previous ones have latches and an o-ring seal to keep things more insulated. I just feel like the public is getting robbed for an extra $200 for features that should've really been standard to begin with

When we bought our platinum. They had the free battery and 2 freezer packs/containers promotion. You mentioned they let you keep accessories. Were those free when you bought the platinum? I would like to exchange ours for the utlimate but dont want to loose the free items.

Just received my ultimate. Using it to keep the inside of my classic Camaro cool on summer cruises. Super nice quality! Built like my Yeti Tundra.
