How did I miss the part about adding repeaters? I must have missed it between the invaluable info on turning the radio on and adding your call sign.

Digital or analog repeater programming would be done in the CS-52 software itself. you can program both under the digital memories section and access them in DR Mode. DR mode provides much easier access to manipulating the DV D-star options to link/unlink repeaters. You can program analog repeaters in the "regular" memory channels also. I’m getting one later this week, I can use my iPhone as a hotspot, will I need to obtain a hardware hotspot?

you can pipe your cellular internet as a wifi "hotspot" to the ZumSpot, if your cell phone/carrier offers the capability.

Great video! Is it possible to go threw you Zumspot and have the signal port over to a chosen D-Star repeater on the system?

that is the general concept of the zumspot. It and other hotspot devices act like a traditional repeater, converting your RF into the D-star network, however with far less range, power. Through the software on the zumspot, and other devices running pi-star, you can control the reflector it connects to from your d-star radio, or in the Pi-star software itself.

No Screen protector. I have a small scratch after several outdoor events.

It's a pretty cumbersome process without a keypad. The CS software makes programming a brreze. RT Systems is also very straightforward to use.

other than it being the most expensive handheld I've purchased, its great if you are looking for your first handheld or an upgrade. Receive outperforms the ID-51 and FT3D and FT5D in my experience.

Can’t see your screen. I would love to understand d star. So far, just confusing. The radio took a few days to understand how to do a call plus call to support multiple times. Not really up and running as there’s a learning curve for sure

im trying to do this on a mac computer but is not opening the file, is there any other way ?

The CS-52 is a Windows only application I am afraid. There are several ways to run Windows on a Mac, one thing you need to make sure of is that your SD Card Reader/USB is routed to your virtual machine if you choose that route.
