1:43 Cist, one thing you have to realize is that the Into the Pit game is a game ADAPTATION, of the book NOT a book remake. Here's what I mean. When you adapt something (such as a spin-off or other non-canon content) You need to make it in a way that would fit in the timeline. That's what the Into the Pit game was made for. It's telling the story of MAINLINE FNaF's Into the Pit Story, Not the book's version. So, in short: Into the pit game takes place in game universe while Into the Pit book takes place in the book universe.

Tbf, ID’s Fantasy is the only one who’s surviving the book debate and still didn’t fell victim to Stitchline/Tales Games. Even though I had change of thoughts with the books, I’m glad ID is still not convinced with the anniversary stuff and is still chill with it.

I think the best way to have it canon but not mess with anything is have it be a in universe game by the indie developer like into the pit story feels like something fazbear would write
