Wow! I was interested into Buchla synths since I watched a portrait of Suzanne Ciani on the TV many many years ago. But I never had the chance to play or even see one in real. So I got Bram Bos' Ripplemaker which is another iOS synth using West coast style architecture. This ID700 seems to go much further - obviously because the developer worked together with Don Buchla in the past. The modulation capabilities are amazing. I cannot wait to try the ID700 out. Thank you Doug for the demo.

Wow ..; just wow. I think I’m always so concerned about maintaining a consistent and repetitious cluster of short audio bits that form recognizable “beats” and “Melodie’s”, etc. but this is a totally different way of looking at and approaching sound, audio, music, etc. Maybe there’s room to spark a future where beats are 5 minutes per bar … lol. Awesome and honest review as always. Thank you, sir.

I am very sure that the Seaboard is supported. On modo.sc/id700/ the developer says "MPE (MIDI Polyphonic Expression) capability for MPE controllers like the Roli Seabord, Linnstrument, and Sensel Morph" and in the pdf documentation you'll find a screenshot where a Sensel Morph is attached via Bluetooth.
