What I find disheartening is that I bought a Solar 42 three months ago, and it took me quite some time to be able to find one, which I did eventually, second hand from a store in Poland. Stores did not have the synth, but it was expected to ship somewhere between July and September. Now, at the sudden, without even hitting the stores as far as I know, the Solar 42 is replaced by a new version with a BPF which is something the synth could benefit very much from - and that distorsion at the end of the chain which could take the synth in different directions, without needing pedals or external effects. So what the hell happened? Why weren't stores informed (I asked openly about availability in EU to the stores I buy from)? Why did people pre-ordering or otherwise did not know from Elta Music that product was being upgraded and replaced? Anyway... ABSOLUTE KILLER SYNTH. I highly recommend it. F or not.
