Did the Bdr in July 2019 from Nev to Bc and August 2020 the opposite direction. Both times we were fortunate the snow had melted and didn't encounter any closures. I've done Wash & OR and Idaho is by far the best one yet. Me-1090 Brother-1190

Im enjoy IDBDR trip. Iv'e enjoyed the detour routings. The 27:30 could have been a show stopper and ruined the ride. Dork in the Rode had a buddy riding to fast on his WABDR group and was carted off with a broken leg. on the second day. The group fell apart. Myself I take pride making sure everyone gets home safe and maintaining a high level of fun. The river camp I would have to had a rest day . 2 thumbs up !! Around Bend Oregon out !

Thanks for another great video. As before, the videography is first-rate. I also loved the long helmet-cam shots that let me live vicariously through your trip while I'm snowed in here in WV with PBS (parked-bike syndrome). I have only BAM and Bell's Two-Hearted Ale to console me. Thanks again!

I was actually pausing the video to work with my GPS to find locations and make waypoints for things I had seen in your trip. Definitely going to have to stay at that beach camp on the Salmon river!! Truly looking forward to seeing Part 3 of your adventure.

Good call on Elk summit, I went through there around July 21st and there was still a huge snow bank towards the top. Although the route yall took look freakin sweet! We called that forested section the "forest of doom". We hit it when it was raining, and my Dad was following me in a 2018 Tacoma...lol

So many familiar sights and I'm only halfway through the video. Pretty sure I ate breakfast one morning right where you guys camped on the river. I also took the Lick Creek detour around snow on Elk Summit. Left Yellow Pine about 4:30am so half of that was done at night, which made it even more fun. I'll have to finish watching tomorrow.

@backcountryadvmoto
@backcountryadvmoto 3 жыл бұрын
The cost of the trip other than the bike and gear is very cheap. We camped the whole time except for the first and last nights and besides that all the camping was free. Food and fuel are the only real cost and that is a small expense as well. It can be done very cheap, or you can spend more, just depends on your budget, but $300 would do just about everything you need

Absolutely loving your content, especially the Idaho stuff as I'm planning to do some exploring up there at the end of July. I subscribe to a good number of KZbin ADV channels, and I have to say yours is one of the best! I really am liking the "Gear and a beer" episodes, as I'm a sucker for IPA's. I ride a 2014 Super Tenere (and No I'm not one of those folks who just keep it on pavement!) I actually like to get it dirty! I'd love to score one of those beer glasses, but I'm gonna donate just cause I love the content so much. If you ever make it down to Colorado, there's lots of incredible riding here!

Unless I’m doing an actual vlog, nothing. Just the sound from the GoPro. I do use a foam wind sock over it to block wind noise

Lol yeah it’s pretty crazy. We joked about it the rest of the trip and he pretty much put all he had and more up to be able to buy it. Look for it to be a ADV Camp in the coming years
