Idaho BDR Section 9 Fire lookout Tower

This Episode we are riding section 8 of Idaho Backcountry Discovery Route. It started very easy on and off the pavement with fair amount of gravel roads, lots of dust. At first it did not feel like anything special but some nice views of the mountains and plains. The highlight of this ride and most scenic view was the ascent to the fire tower that was at over 6000 ft of elevation. The view from the top was breathtaking. This part of BDR had quite a few of loose rocks and steep climbs to the top. The video does not show the actual condition of the trail it makes it all flat and smooth. At the top we have stopped for few minutes to take some drone shots but it was a bit windy and cloudy and my drone had trouble to stay steady so couldn't fly and risc it to get some shots from further away. At the end we pulled into the campground on the nice lake, Sam Owen Recreational site Idaho.

I would love to, unfortunately my work schedule doesn't allow me. I work long hours and many weekends, when I'm off I either ride or spend time with family or edit. I have been in Calgary for 10 years and I have managed to go to the bike show only twice. But honestly not much difference lol
