here as a novice hiker who has a bit of an idaho fixation, this episode in particular was inspirational to me. “life itself is harder than a hike.” i dream of having the courage and ability one day to do this trail!

Hey that Best Western on the lake in Sandpoint is out go to when we drive through. Great town and so close to Schwietzer.

It doesn't! You picked an unfortunate year. Most years hot and dry. I live north of Coeurd Alene and hike all of north idaho frequently. I was pretty awed at how wet it was!! Thought he was in Oregon! LOL
