On the average day, the average person comes into contact with countless average persons. But how many actually affect us? Then the average person walks into the Albertson's on Vista Avenue and encounters Peter Steffens, a longtime checker at the store.

I’m pretty similar to Peter. I work for Jewel Osco, which is owned by Albertsons, and I get people who look for me all the time. Been working for Jewel for 12 years, and I enjoy my job as a cashier very much
