boy, I can't rightly remember. Nothing I uses is very expensive though, just cheap 3000-4000 reels. Enough to hold an appropriate amount of braided backing and 50 or so yards of mono. Thanks for watching!

Fresh morts man! I think the beat up fins ones just travel more and get beat up in the rocks and tangled in braided line they'll get cut off

Nvm 50lbs mono 10 ft rod ..what leader and real

It's a cheap 4000 series size reel. I spool on half 80lb braid and half mono. The 50-40lb mono holds up to the abrasion, and the braid gives enough line for the big ones.

What leader do you use and can 5olbs mono handle big ones well obviously you seem to of handle that six footer fine

Same on the leader. 40-50 mono or I use pre-tied hooks that have a 120lb braid leader. It about the rocks so mono is the way to go. I caught a 4 1/2ft one two weeks ago on my ultralight with 8lb test (by accident) Took an hour and a miracle but I got her in.
