I appreciate the use case for this particular product and how it satisfies the requirements for painting items in a self-contained, well-lit, clean and clean air environment. BUT the enclosure alone is $831 and the ventilation blower they offer is another $1141 on top of that. And then there isn’t much else one would do with this thing. There are other more flexible and less costly alternatives. Example one: $160 Fast Cap 3rd Hand-type adjustable pole kit and common PE sheeting. You can erect it in the same time, size- anything you want. I pair mine with a $12 zipper door, $199 24” collapsible PVC duct, a Lasko 20” box fan (only 1800 cfm, but dirt cheap) and a $20 20”x30” hepa panel filter from the hardware store. It has spray booth use, then can be a dust wall in a renovation, the poles can hold a laser, lighting, even sheet goods up against the ceiling. Way cheaper, more versatility.

If you drop 9ft plastic on each side and you'll be able to reuse the plastic sleeves that come with the booth. Those suckers are expensive. I use old cardboard boxes lined against the sleeve to catch most the overspray. I bought my Paint Line Spray Booth and Hanger System last summer and set it up in my at home workshop last summer. I haven't once had to replace the plastic sleeve. Since then I've changed my business model to strictly cabinet finishing. I wish Paint Line had more cool, useful equipment to invest in. I wonder if they take requests or suggestions? Have a few game changing equipment idea's they might be able to fabricate for us painters.

Thanks for the set up demonstration. I do have a question on this set up. I notice that there is an open side to this booth. If that side remains open during spraying, will the exhaust fan succeed in pulling all the overspray dust out side? I would think that the open side would still allow for dust to contaminate the surroundings despite the exhaust fan.

In comparison - you can buy a lightweight hiking tent, which will use advance and lightweight materials, which withstands huge winds, and heavy weather conditions.... or for the same price you can buy this thing... few cheap poles and a simple cheap plastic cover... That plastic cover cost like 50 dollars for 3, so that cheap structure cost 500 dollars???? This thing would be ok if its price would be somewhere below 200 mark and it should be.....

@@Idahopainter For my opinion this sheller doesn't look like highEnd professional product... I guess much smarter to buy some pvc pipes with connections and make the same dimension shelter for 3rd of the price and just use the same plastic covers... I am not saying that I don't like what you are doing, I like you videos where you teaching stuff or making the right commercials, but hate when you use your ''fame'' trying to sell something overpriced and trying convince that you will look professional....

Nice video. But magnets aren't strong enough need a better system. My plastic doesn't sit flat on ground. For the money I wouldn't recommend. Sorry had such high expectations.
