Yeah, those 47 minutes of battery sounds great? Even though it's probably going to make it over 250 G. It really doesn't matter to me. I know a lot of people like that sub 250? Great video with this SE Marcus? It's really good that we can get something so small with a great camera, I can't wait to see the Mini 3 and see what that is going to look like? I'm definitely going to wait and see a few videos before I go ahead and buy. I tend to do that with all the drones. Either way Marcus, thanks for sharing another great looking video. 👍👍👍

Hi, Marcus! Yes, The Mini SE is a fantastic drone. I fly it every day in the lot next to my house that I have cleared many trees from and delimbed many more to make the lot into an obstacle course. In one area a sizable tree has fallen. I removed all of the smaller branches and twigs from to make a complex web if you will. An intricate maze. It takes a great deal of patience and skill to maneuver through it successfully. This little guy does it perfectly day in and day out. I fly all day and night long. That's all I do.

Hi Marcus, great video as usual. Here is the definition of the micrometre, also called micron, metric unit of measure for length equal to 0.001 mm, or about 0.000039 inch. Its symbol is μm. The micrometre is commonly employed to measure the thickness or diameter of microscopic objects,

Well said. I bought the Mini 2 because it was the best value for money drone at the time. Had the SE been released at the time, that's the one I would have bought. For KZbin, 2.7K is just fine. I do like the extras on the Mini 2, but suspect I would have been just as happy with the SE.
@mickeymch8762 жыл бұрын
Depends where your at and what price range you are in. The SE is the best bang for your buck if you are limited to the $300 - $350 range but it you live in an area with a lot of interference and can afford it the Mini 2 would probably be a better choice. I have many areas around me (including where I live) that the Mini SE would loss signal at 150' to 200' from the controller. In the same area the Mini 2 will go 1500 - 2000' before the signal goes bye bye.

I now have the mini se thanks to all Ive learned from your videos. Thanks for the educational and entertaining content you put effort into sharing. So far the se is preforming great and inspires confidence for a beginner like me. Ive watched most all your videos and cant remember ever seeing this, but do you use the screen recorder included in your phones software? Or are you using a different app? My screen recordings occasionally black out briefly while watching them later. No FPV loss while flying. Totally something to do with the recording itself and I use the recorder included with my phone. Thanks Marcus.

This is my first drone and I have to admit it's absolutely awesome. Never had a single problem with it and she always comes back to me even in the heavily forested areas of Florida I live in. One question I have is: you mentioned something about wanting to activate the fly awake hours. I purchased the DJI insurance will fly away coverage but every once in awhile I'll get a message upon startup that says something about activating the coverage but it goes away before I can even read it. Is this something I need to be worried about to make sure that I'm covered for flyways even if I purchase the coverage?
@IdahoQuadcopter2 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure why it gave me that message. Thank you!

The mini se and mini 2 have the same wind resistance? That’s strange cuz the mini 2 has a slightly higher pitch angle. I’m guessing the se will pitch as far as the mini 2 if it’s really windy because it’s capable of pitching that far
@IdahoQuadcopter2 жыл бұрын
I'm sure there is a need to differentiate the two products as well.
@dosomestuff19492 жыл бұрын
@@IdahoQuadcopter true, but from what I’ve seen, they do perform identically in wind. Btw, have u tested the mini 3 pro in wind? How does that perform compared to these two drones
@fj1100mark2 жыл бұрын
All three of my drones the platinum the air 2 and the mini all had that optimising FlightSafety update I think they’ve done it for every single drone. I’m definitely not going to fly today as we have 22 mile an hour sustained 41 mile an hour gusts
@IdahoQuadcopter2 жыл бұрын
Oh wow! That is windy.
@peteroman42972 жыл бұрын
Actually the DJI mini SE handles the same winds that the Mini 2 can and if you use Yagi antennas with the parabolic antenna you can pretty much cover the same distance that the occusync on the mini 2 covers. In all honesty the only “Real” difference between the SE and the mini 2 is the $200 or so dollars ( that people were con’ed into including me) and the mini 2 has a slightly better camera and by the way the mini SE does have the same pitch angle as the mini 2. 🤷🏻♂️😊👍 by the way love you channel.

@@dosomestuff1949 no it doesn’t. The mini SE has the same motors and props that the mini 2 has.
@dosomestuff19492 жыл бұрын
@@peteroman4297 it does. And the mini se has the capability to pitch at that angle, but it’s a software limitation by dji for some reason. If u rth with the mini se and push the stick forward, it will pitch as much as the mini 2.
@peteroman42972 жыл бұрын
@@dosomestuff1949 ok,ok I get what you mean. I thought you were speaking in reference to the “Props Pitch”? Now I get what you are referring to, you’re talking as far as the “Pitch” of the drone itself not the “Pitch” of the props.👍👍👍💯💯💯

Re the Mini 3, if DJi would put out a "standard version" instead of the Pro with a better camera than the Mini 2, without obstacle avoidance, etc., I might consider buying. I could care less about obstacle avoidance, active track but would like a better camera than the Mini 2. In a year the Mini 2 will become more difficult to get batteries and some parts for and will be just another orphan of DJi. Had hopes for a "standard version" but does not look promising. I fly 100% by the rules, away from people, never over homes, always within VLOS, and in unrestricted airspace, yet I still get pestered. What's the secret?
