Such an apt beginning.... what with a Panther on the prowl :) I'm sure the reference to Leipzig Zoo is more recognisable for people living in Germany, but considering where the tank was made, perhaps Tiergarten Nürnberg would be even more on point (if they had a similar ad tagline, that is). Still, one of many fun bits in this vid (like the random infantryman wishing you luck with the Churchill and the close encounter with the Cromwell)! Vade's elite squad demonstrating what experience and good teamwork can do... great coordination, clear commands, smooth execution. No shouting over each other, or everyone trying to be TC. Haubutze's shots at 1:22 and 13:45 were amazing, great sense of where to lay the gun before the target showed up so practically zero time wasted before pulling the trigger. Great work fighting a German Fury-final-scene at 9:00 - though I'm glad this one ended the way it did, though no surprise with this team plus the seemingly hapless Brits :D

Mega cooles Video mal wieder 👍 keep it up! Schau mir deine Videos (auch die älteren) gerne an um so ein wenig Referenz zu bekommen wie man als Kommandant agiert… was mich aber noch überfordert sind die Karten… ich hab immer nie eine wirkliche Ahnung wo wichtige bzw vorteilhafte Positionen sind… ein Video in dem du evtl auf Verschiedene Maps eingehst wäre mega cool

It isn't linked to any system in the tank, but afaik the more damaged it is, the more it is prone to fire. But you're probably right, that's something you can fix later at the base if things get hot.

I love those vids but it always makes me wonder why do all tank players on yt just 1v1 other tanks on the outskirts of the map and not support the infantry on the objectives or help them advance? I think that would be more useful no? Sorry i dont play this game so i dont know maybe someone can explain:)

In my opinion heavy hitting tanks (and tank destroyers) are best used to intercept and iterdict enemy armour and support vehicles to keep them off the back of your own troops. There are alot of tanks that are more lightly armoured well suited to infantry support (recon vehicles, light and medium tanks like the Sherman 75, Panzer III and IV) because of their good HE weaponry and firerate. I just happen to prefer the Heavy Tank Ambush type of doing things.

​@@Vade Agreed - support doesn't always mean close/very close support (Nah- und Nächstbereichs-schutz) but could also mean distant support - in this case, as Vade points out, interception and interdiction. Heavy armour (by this I mean tanks, not protection) has good reach and range, and this can be better-exploited in the open spaces around the infantry objectives - which Vade does a very good job of. They also happen to be, conversely, very vulnerable in urban fighting because of the slower turret traverse, larger size/lower maneuverability etc.

Hey, ich hab mal eine frage, ich selbst habe mit Panzern nicht viel am Hut (ausser ab und an mal WoT oder Warthunder) - hab selbst als Panzergrenadier gedient aber nie mit der Panzerfaust 3 geschossen weil zu teuer 😅 Woher kommt die mir augenscheinliche professionelle Kommunikation zwischen euch? Das habe ich so nie gehört bei jeglichen Spielern die irgendwelche panzerspiele spielen. Sehr ungewöhnlich. Kann täuschen aber für den freiwilligen Wehrdienst klingt ihr mir zu jung wo ihr hättet das aufschnappen können. Würde mich ehrlich interessieren warum ihr "unnötigerweise" so sprecht bei einem spiel. Mir ist bewusst dass es so effizient und für alle verständlich ist aber normal ist das nicht 😅
