My Apple TV has been working fine, but right now all the internet I have is cellular data which is unlimited, I can’t hotspot because I only have 10 GB of that, but I can play it on my phone and supposedly airplay but every time I try to airplay video to my Apple TV it just sits on a loading bar and goes no where. Apparently I have found no where telling me a fix for this problem, or what I can do. Fortunately for me I hired a professional hacker, [e-mail], WhatsApp on [phone] and he fixed it for me!

Jeff, I successfully jailbroke my ATV2. I installed XBMC and Nito I just don't know how to add the sources and find all the movies add ons etc. I hope you get to post a tutorial pretty soon. Thanks a lot brother keep up the awesome work.

When you are jailbreaking the Apple TV and you are at the part where you have to put it in dfu mode, would it be jailbroken if I just take the wire out and use it on my tv without putting it in dfu? If not what can I do to put it in dfu mode because I do not have a remote and I'm broke. (P.S I have already tried the redsn0w thing to put it in dfu mode but it didn't work). Thanks

Thanks for the video, but your link to Fire core only seems to have the teathered version. The start of the update to the apple box seems to go well, but after I do the secound remote thing (DFU MODE) after a few min I get a "failed to reset USBcounters" Can you help?

Hi Jeff...Nice vid. I'm having problems...I am trying to JB Apple TV2 running firmware 6.0.2. following your instructions but keep getting error 'Firmware restore failed'. Just wanted to know if you've heard of anyone getting this and if there is a known work around? I know you've started with firmware 5.3 but I didn't think I needed to downgrade as that's basically what Seas0nPass is doing when it JBs. Any thoughts much appreciated.

Hi my Apple TV is jailbroke with fire core, but when I turned it on tonight it's not the usual screen and when I press Kodi it says Kodi is starting the little wheel spins then just goes back to the start! Any ideas?

If it is still asking for you to plug the USB lead, then the driver for the lead/ATV2 has not installed, i found that i needed to uninstall old unused iTunes and install latest, iTunes will install correct driver. Then plug ATV into itunes, it will detect your device, then turn iTunes of. Then when i ran FC all was good. That was what worked for me.

Dang, it enters DFU mode and right when it starts doing the first file(Ibec something) I get an error box that says "Error entering DFU mode". I think it's my ATV2. Been acting up as of late. Gonna try a few more times.

For those having difficulty connecting USB to get started AND to connect in DFU mode, I had a few problems too. In my case, I found that you have to leave the power lead unplugged to get create IPSW and start downloading firmware. THEN to connect in DFU mode, you need to plug the power in until the light starts flashing, then unplug very quick,y and hold both Menu & Play / Pause together for 7 seconds. It then starts to restore firmware successfully. I hope that helps :)

Thank you! I had the exact same problem. Plug in the power when it goes into DFU mode and disconnect once the light starts flashing rapidly. Took me forever to get it into jail break mode. Thanks again!

I jailbroke my neighbor's Apple 2 using the SeasonPass and it said it succesfuly updated. However, when she hooked it up to her TV, the things like Hulu and such still needed codes. I know absolutely nothing about how ATV is supposed to work so maybe I'm missing something? Any help would be great!
