This has to be so much cheaper than a whole reloader's setup. The rubber bullets are special loads, only for self-defense. But normal bullets would be able to be used I would like to think. This can be perfect for people who shoot part-time/not very much. And it can be taken to the field.

Ok so they are actually lead bullets off this mold just powder coated green. I don't do traditional pan lubing I powder coat, but I have loaded some glue gun bullets and shot them with only a primer.

It's an antique, today's equivalent is a lyman 310 tool, that you'd buy separate dies for what ever cartridge you want to reload for.

These are old loading tools and caliber specific. They are called ideal reloading tools and different types. This one is ideal #4 only for 38 special. As to where to buy, antique shops or ebay will be your friend.

This is a lead bullet that came out of the mold. I just powder coated the bullet so I don't have to lube the bullet.

What's taking so long????? I'd have had 20 reloaded cartridges by now!!!! But I don't suggest even using a reloader that doesn't fully resize and cut to length and scale ⚖️ off each charge!!!! Uniformity is also a key factor in accuracy!!!!

I'm aware of that but the M is old and stands for military before they started calling it 38 special.

Ahhhh, did some more digging. "a longer version of the 38 Long Colt and it was referred to as the 38 special S&W Military, abbreviated to 38 S&W M" Learning all the time...
