One thing so many gas engineers don't do.. check the expansion vessel, it's not related to the fault but saves future issues.

I have 90% of these issues. I tried this. But boiler still doest do hot water. I didn't take out the value but their was a little water coming out the value and some black ish gunk. When we turn out and even do a lot of your steps. Our boiler says stat off even tho it's not of and iv done factory rest on the stat and reconnect the stat to the receiver. It still stays stat off any help please been with out heating for 6 days

What could it be when preheat is turned on and boiler doesn't come on at all to heat water. Also only getting lukewarm water on max hot water setting. Ch is fine and hot. There are no fault codes. Ideal Logic 30.

hi there i wanted your help. ive had new boilier put it. vailant 838 ecotec plus. with danfoss tpone. put the heating on and ran it for about 2hours. on the thermostat it says low heat. what does this mean could you please help? why has that come up? please help.

I have a logic combo boiler c24 and it’s on an L2 fault, I had no gas but it’s now been delivered but it’s still not working, I reset it and checked the pipe isn’t frozen but I don’t know what else to do! Help! Please!

Wonder was there any thought given by the designers as to what could happen if you were to fit the Diverter Valve at a low point on the Boiler in also placing same in a Horizontal position where so much Sludge and debris would accumulate thus grinding through the seals on the spindle shaft and allowing water to weep into the Motor...had a couple of small weep holes or relief slot been designed for drainage from the neck of the Diverter valve neck body coupled robust seals and weep holes on a motor assembly neck premature failures for a pastime would have been lessened... and you wouldn't have had water within the Motor, maybe now that those French Chaps [Groupe Atlantic] now own, IDEAL some thought may be go into design, by engineering out faults by improving Designs into the future...
