I’ve had thoughts about buying one of these, Is it a soft enough ride at the rear as I have a back problem, The Engwe engine has rear suspension so a little undecided what to do.

I just bought a suspension seat post and it works fine. Less moving parts without the rear suspension. I ride in Miami Urban rising not off-road, but my experience is that it rides just fine with the suspension post and the battery padded. The three inch wide wheels are preferred to the 4 inch wheels on the other bikes. The C20 Pro version I have in the US goes 25 MPH, so that is plenty. Not sure how the EU version performs with the 250W motor, but I heard they might have upgraded that recently.

I have had two of these (C20 Pro 48v 500w version US) for a year. Both have battery rattle. So I would put some felt tape on the battery edges to make it fit snug to eliminate the rattle. Engwe quit selling the C20 Pro in the US. Not sure why as I have had no issues with mine. Nice review and remember the push off when in off position to turn a bit further to retract the lock fully in order to remove the battery. This is not a well documented feature so thanks for showing this. Cheers!!!

Hi, the wheel rims are 70mm wide and the tyres are 80mm wide. I hope that helps 👍

PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!! The Bike they deliver in Europe does not have - Taillight added - Wider handbar - Wider wheelbone - Sturdy kickstand like shown in the Video. BEFORE ORDERING MAKE SURE WHICH VERSION IS REALLY BEING SOLD TO AVOID TROUBLE!!!

Upgraded version? This has a 250W motor. Anything more is not road legal in the UK, @dennishilpmann

More than 250W is not road legal in Germany too and it is not allowed to drive the bike without a taillight in Germany. The Bike the company delivers does not have the features (taillight, ...) they advertising at the German Store and like it is shown in your Video. They don't even have the bike including the upgraded features in European Stock, they told me. Now I'am in trouble with them. They want me to pay 200€ for returning the bike. They did't want to give me my money back nor exchange the bike against the new version like it's written in their return and refund policy if customers receiving the wrong article. Maybe you should write about this fact it the video description to avoid trouble for the customers. People should ask before ordering wich version they will get delivered. @@HermanHitstheRoad​

I bought a bike very similar to this for motorhome use. It is fun to ride but the ”complaint” I have is that this generation of bikes are a still extremely hard to fold away and carry with all the cables and things sticking out. The operation must look like Chaplin comedy films with the old steamliner sun deck chairs. 😅
