Helene came and put 8 feet of water in my hanger. Bike totaled. Bought a new one immediately. I can do without an airplane for a while, but I have to ride. It’s a great bike that’s opened up a whole new world to me. I’m 74.

@@IdealBike Ce sa spun... Mi-au plăcut toate vlogurile tale. Mai ales ca erau făcute cu motocicleta pe care doream sa o cumpăr. Apoi am neglijat canalul, total, pentru ca ai renunțat la NC. I do the same kind of riding adventures and I currently have a Triumph 900 GT (yes, it does green lanes just fine). I am constantly worried about breakdowns (it’s not a Honda 😅)… it has actually been reliable for 18,000 km. No issues despite some rough going… but… my mind would be at ease with a Transhalp… but it has tubes… the dreaded tubes… ugh…

Yes, it COULD have been a pretty nice bike. The potential is there, BUT ( without sarcasm, or mobbing ) - On one hand Honda uses ALLLLOT of 💰💰on toys, that no one will ever produce / buy, and on the other - in the production they save on things that are SUPPOSED and very much EXPECTED to be on modern bikes - loosing the marked to Chinese moto-industry. Why NO cruise control ?? Why NO tubeless wheel ?? Why NO center stand....?? These are rhetorical questions. Honda thinks, if people want THOSE "finesses" - go buy Africa.... ( the 1100cc series ). Well - NO. Africa is too heavy, too expensive and too thirsty. Honda has the BEST in the world MC concept for MANY people who need an easy to use commuter + economical vehicle : NC750X, but until this day - it remains a HALF BAKED bike !!! - No CC ( a MUST on a DCT bike ), old degraded suspension. You have to buy a center stand/box rack.... outdated swingarm, cheap / useless front light...... Back to the Trans-Alp : it is not a cheap bike. It is supposed to be a comfy COMMUTER - NOT an Off-Roader !! The ground clearance, the suspension..., even the tires it comes with, testify - this bike is made for commuting / traveling - not humping on stones. It all HAS been tested by highly profiled Mc-vloggers. All the mentioned above SHOULD have been on it, but - NO !! ..... So, as long as Honda keeps to their xxxxx strategy - WE - people who know what we want - buy some other bikes ☝☝🤨

Totally agree. Replacing the air filter needs an engineering degree compared to more modern competitor bikes. Having to reset traction control every time you jump on board doesn.t cut it on a supposedly modern bike. The basic concept of the bike is great but numerous deficiencies from Honda are apparent- could be considered slack by them. Not a fan but would have liked one. This vid alone seems somewhat disingenuous- is "ideal bike adventures" sponsored by Honda? Is this new click bait AI at it's finest? Careful people........... Question what your seeing!
