Some really good photos there, Liesl. I especially liked the light bulb. Have you taken a macro of the element when it is on? I bet that would look amazing. You have also inspired me to go to the cake shop. Though I probably won't photograph them. Finally, wow! Your drawing of the fuchsia is outstanding. Is that your profession? Thanks for sharing.

Hi, John! Yes, I did but the photo didn't turn out well, some ideas just don't work haha! I told myself NOT to photograph food and fell for it anyway, it was a nice excuse to visit the bakery :D Those ended up being the most fun to do. I used to draw a lot after being inspired by my children's illustrated story books, that was before I started taking photos all the time. I sold all of my finished drawings (more than 50), so all I have left are some unfinished studies, I miss it and would like to take it up again. I have loads of copyright free reference photos now :D
