Great video! Omg I can’t wait for the SeFi video. That’s what I was typed and I’d love to see your breakdown. I’ve already gone over the database for SeFi on your website but I think these videos where you do an overview is very engaging so I’m excited 🤩

Interesting enough there seems to be some correlation between how CT sees irrational vs rational and how Gulenko sees irrational vs rational at least when it comes to body language. How it manifests in body language with the Irrational leads being more fluid and rationals being a little more stiff seems to Be some common ground there with Gulenko.

Alex fair enough. But I think how things go down in application/in practise isn’t always a perfect reflection of the theory. The way they in theory talk about rational vs irrational body language seems to match up somewhat at least on paper

* Hello Auburn! I found your site through this channel, which I discovered by exploring another channel. Glad you're posting new videos, but unfortunately I don't understand English and I would like to know if it would be possible to subtitle your videos to Portuguese (Brazil) or Spanish (we Brazilians don't speak Spanish, but I think I could understand your videos). Of course, if that's not a bother (just a suggestion).

I had another question. Can an inferior ti or fi user have ji receding energy? Can an EN_J or ES_J have it?
@CognitiveTypology2 жыл бұрын
Oh, keen question. Of the five Ji signals, Receding Energy is the one most strongly preserved in high-Ji or Ji-leads. This is because it's very difficult to see that soft/frail/delicate retreating happen in a Je-lead, since it conflicts so naturally with their strong and voluminous appearance. It's typically the one signal they do not show, even when they develop Ji. Much more often they have momentum halts and disengaging eyes, but not receding energy.

So let me see , people usually type Taylor as ESFJ and IU as INFP So you know are telling me that they are ISTP???

Another question cuz why not?. If a person has all the pi signals checked except for inertial energy (pi 1) Would you consider that person to be a pi lead?
@Iceman219 Жыл бұрын
A Pi-lead needs to be P-lead first and then show the Pi signals along with conductor energy/sage energy.

note James Jean and Taylor Swift aren't standard development, James is II-- (full reviser) and Taylor is II-I (energy inverted)

The thing is what if, like for instance in my case, when I was younger I had more of these vultology cues that are indicative of ji. But, my parent taught that these, traits were not good or should say shy. So she had me emulate je individual for example. With the disengaged gaze. She had me look into the individual's eyes who I was speaking to and I emulate the hand movement I see in high fe users. In that case will vultology still be accurate and if it was. That would mean cognitive functions change right. I ask this because apart from these, the cues associated with eye brows and eye lids I believe are less accurate due to anatomy and environment.

I was wondering have you ever found a case of a person who's a FeNi but in reverse development? Like that person is TiSe like. Like an ENFJ who comes off as an ISTP with ti (ji) and se (pe) conscious?
@CognitiveTypology2 жыл бұрын
I have. They do exist, but they're rather rare. Normally other typology systems type them as high-Ti because of it. But they remain driven primarily by Fe ethics and drives.

@@CognitiveTypology How do you tell de difference?
@CognitiveTypology2 жыл бұрын
@@teawithme8789 Good question. So, we look at something we call 'energetic toll', which refers to the body's energetic taxation that is visible when modulating (i.e. using) a lower function. If a person is Je-lead, then when they go into their Ji, there is a 'clamping down' of an otherwise easily animating energy, and also a quick and seamless return back to animation, after the Ji halt is over. Oppositely, if a Ji-lead is modulating a Je function, they will 'struggle' to bring that out, momentarily, but their animation will be continually seeking for that retreat back to their energetic baseline. It's a bit like saying that types are elastic bands that return to their 'native state' (the lead function) even though they can stretch. We look for what is most effortful and non-native-state. If Je is the place they return to, then we know they're FeNi. If Ji is the place they easily return to, then we know they're TiSe.

Interesting. I can’t see any Ti coming from Lewis. He gives me total ISFP vibes (from an ENTP perspective it always feels like they’re lying or hiding something and that they’re never sure about what their opinions are)
