Do you know "Metaphors we live by" by George Lakoff and Mark Johnson? It deals with how our whole thinking is first ruled by metaphors, but also how metaphors are all ultimately founded on humans being bodies in space. When we talk about abstract ideas (e.g. judging someones argument, we use "house-metaphors", "it's a well founded idea", "he constructs his argument well", "his argument came crashing down"), we use embodied experiences. Same goes for sentences we would not think of as metaphors e.g. "there are many words in this sentence". The "words" are _in_ the "sentence". The "words" (abstract) are treated like objects, that are inside of a sentence, like objects in a container. This is a metaphor. Reminded me of your explanation of expanding from real topography to abstract spaces.

In observing and mapping the patterns here after part one judging findings and part two perceiving, I broke each one down to two core differentiating traits. Fi- natural/soft mouth, reserved energy. Fe- natural/soft mouth, pushy energy. Te- tight mouth, pushy energy. Ti- tight mouth, reserved energy. Se- wandering eyes, chill energy. Si- steady eyes, nervous energy. Ne- wandering eyes, nervous energy. Ni- steady eyes, chill energy.

What do you guys think about ISFJ/INFP tho? I see Si as the main focus in her songs with her focus on details and the past. Driver's license for example, seeing her "ex's face in the car" or happier, wanting her ex to not forget about her and their relationship. I think in those few songs you shown, there is a need of following the crowd and wanting to be like everyone else, which is aux Fe, unlike Dom Fe which is more leader-like. I also see way more Fi in her songs than Se.

Love this format! The chaotic energy is obvious, although before she got typed into CT, I could see the point of high Fe for her because of the social agility she displays in a lot of interviews. She often appears very articulate and wise, with a specific way to spin all her answers into very non-confrontational, positive and humble statements on a whim as if she could easily figure out knew what people want to hear, which could also be an indicator of good media training.

Thank you for pointing out that Fe can be very tough minded. As an ENFJ I can be very outspoken as Fe is acting at the behest of a Ti agenda ie they're inextricably linked on an axis - no inferior Ti here! Indeed my Fe/Ti was rated as 50/50 by CPT such that I can easily oscillate on my axis to become more ISTP esq like. I think people have this perception of Fe dominants being like cute teddy bears giving everyone hugs when to be an Fe dominant, especially the ENFJ is to take your social role very seriously. Indeed we tend to be quite reserved, logical, objective & reserved individuals. CPT points out that ENFJs can be even more blunt than their ENTJ counterparts especially with those they are familiar with. Sure it can take us some time to 'warm up' but behind that amenable exterior is a very calculated interior planning multiple contingencies. CPT calls us the most strategic type for a reason - everything is done with a purpose in mind & TiNi synthesis can confidently extrapolate what are likely outcomes of said actions. I couldn't believe it when CPT initially typed me as an ENFJ as I thought I was probably a Ti dominant (okay so in a way I was close) but once I got passed all the stereotypes & listened to Harry's rationale it all made sense. Harry actually uses some vultology in his typing albeit doesn't focus exclusively on that. It was eventually decided that I'm a divergent TiNi ENFJ (an ENFJ that leans into TiNi as opposed to the convergent FeSe pairing). Due to my subtype I probably don't come off as amenable as many other ENFJs and am much more forthright (that's not to say most ENFJs aren't). I've also found ESFJs to also be extremely fervent in their opinions & extremely adept at picking up on logical inconsistencies owing to the divergent TiSi pairing. When we focus on the dominant exclusively we miss out on a whole other world to the type and need to be looking much more holistically and how the functions work together. Yup FeNi can be the most angry owing to the convergent usage of FeSe in CPT vernacular it's very nuanced in its expression & extremely directive. I'm called tenacious for a reason it's just a shame that in contexts where my cognition tends to lock up I revert to my ISFJ auxillary network & become that bit more amenable which doesn't feel like my authentic self. I had a showdown with my boss at a mediation who saw me as amenable & needless to say she was shocked at how fervent & angry I was. FeNi can actually decide how angry it wants to be - it's like we can turn the dials up & down at will unlike divergent Fe users whose Fe is much more locked in place (intp, INFJ etc). That's not to say other types don't get angry but rather ENFJs and convergent Fe users especially Fe doms have better control over it. I find my emotions flow through me & I can navigate & direct them at will to suit my cause if Ti dictates it necessary. I'm creating the impression we're a labile type which isn't the case as our emotions are consciously under our control it's rather we can turn the dials up or down at will hence we're generally a very stoic type unless Ti dictates to us otherwise. It's worth bearing in mind I am neurodivergent so I probably come off as even more stoic than most owing to facial flatness & leaning into that TiNi pairing. I think as we turn the dials up & down people can see us as fake which isn't the case: we naturally dip into our FiSi through our FeSe so it is say an authentic expression of anger it's just extremely well calibrated for the situation, "you have to meet the vibration you can't be above or below it." Olivia is a perfect example of a mistyped ESFJ & the stereotypes perpetuated about Fe doms in the type community leading many people to mistype. I belong to some enfj groups & honestly the vast majority of people in them aren't (gotta remember we're quite a rare type) for these very reasons. I don't blame people but I wish they would do their research through CT & CPT beforehand. I completely she's an ESFP in both CT, CPT & MBTI as I see the systems not as mutually exclusive. When you talked about being emotionally untethered this is very common for ESFPs as a divergent NiFi feeling type in CPT: they are steered by their emotions rather than say an ENFJ who actively controls them. My fiance is an ESFP and his moods as opposed to discrete emotions are very long lived ie if he's in a mood you're gonna know about it for awhile they can't direct their energies elsewhere whereas I can be bothered by something but at conceal it well by actively controlling what I'm feeling (that FiSi convergent dip again). I hope people watch this & really take onboard the unfounded stereotypes about Fe doms. I'm constantly accused of being an INTJ in the MBTI community owing to being very strategic, stoic & measured which are just stereotypes that don't even epitomise an actual INTJ who are generally much more (not in jovial but relaxed way) free & easy as long as they're not encroached upon due to being perceiving dominants. The mastermind stereotypes doesn't suit them either - I actually find they're very giving in terms of giving existential NiFi advice to those they care about as opposed to concealing plans etc. I'm simply more calculated. Thanks for this guys it's refreshing to see people being typed accurately. I'm actually really interested in being typed by you guys as I'd like ENFJ verified from a CT perspective. I just wander what you'd make of me as a TiNi subtype in CPT? As that convergent TiNi might come through more I wander if I'll display some ISTP signatures. Overall from your typings of ENFJs so far I'm pretty confident you corroborate my type.
